...Thousands of years ago, seven mystics created the dragonballs in order to defeat Piccolo and his demonic henchman. Dragonball to Dragonball Z

Advantages: CN version censored for kids, kids love it
Disadvantages: Not for everyone, I hate censorship, pointless censoring, violence?, adult-ish themes, kids love it, too commercialised

Dragonball Evolution, The film that fan-boys love to hate!

Advantages: People have loved much worse films.
Disadvantages: If your a fan of Toriyama you probably won't let yourself like it.

...Dragonball Evolution!!! Being based loosely on Akira Toriyama's manga "Dragonball" means that people reading this review will fall into three categories; Die-hard fans of the manga, people who have seen the trailer for the film and want to know more, and of course those who stumble across it wondering what on earth a Dragonball is. Dragonball Evolution - THE FANS ARE WONG!

Advantages: Great action, some great comedy and sticks with some of the original storyline
Disadvantages: Alright-ish acting, too short, and bad director.

...As many people know, Dragonball Evolution is based on the highly popular Manga and Anime series. I have just finished watching the film and ALOT of people think it was a terrible film and was absolutly pathetic. THEY'RE TOTALLY WONG! (See what i did there? The director is... James... Wong... :l YOU HAVE NO SENSE OF HUMOR XD) I saw the film and thought it was great. The storyline was great, the effects were great, the characters were great. IT WAS ALL GREAT! He is asked to keep this safe as its Gohans second greatest treasure (Goku being his first). But instead of attending Gohans birthday meal, he'd rather go to his high school love Chi Chi's party. Dragonball - The series that started it all.

Advantages: Great Story, Good animation.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!

...Well, there's alot to say here. Please be aware there may be some spoliers to the series here. You have been warned. I was introduced to Dragonball when I was about 13, when Toonami (UK) played a marathon day from 7 in the morning to 11 in the evening. I wasn't originally too keen on it back then, but that's really what started my Manga / Anime thing. The series is based on the manga written by Akira Toriyama, who released it in Japan between 1984 and 1995, and entails Goku, the hero of the series, in his search(es) for the Dragonballs, 7 mystical balls that grant the user a wish, then they are unusable for the next year. In all, there are 9 sagas (in the english version, only 5 in the japanese), and these cover the 153 half hour episodes that were made. Rock the Dragonball Z

Advantages: It has a really good story, some intense battles and amazing music.

...Dragonball Z is a Japanese cartoon about some fighters who try to guard Earth from evil Forces. It is a sequel to Dragonball and prequel to Dragonball GT, AF and TS. The main character is Goku; he is a Sayan from the planet Vegetta. This means he is more powerful than all the other guardians. He (like all the other fighters) has the ability to use KI attacks. This is when they shoot a ball of energy from their hands. This can damage opponents quite a bit, but uses up their energy. DragonBall Z: The Future is Now

Advantages: good film, set into the future of DragonBall Z

...Ok then so your either intrested in Dragonball Z or just curious. Well i've seen every episode atleast three times. I think it is a thing you will or won't like. Simple as that. Dragonball ZZZ Is The Best On TTV

Advantages: More to come on Cartoon network
Disadvantages: Too many to come

...Dragonball is too good for words. It is the best TV Series on TV and personally I think could be a craze in a second. I mean we have Goku (or Gokou) as the main character saving the earth from various bad guys such as Frieza and Nappa. The series revolves around the Dragonballs that when collected togther give the collector 1 or 3 wishes. It is a cartoon and is of a out of this world genre. Some people love it others do not, it depends really. There are thousands of bits and bobs you can get in USA to do with this and Japan had already finished the entire shows while we are around 150 episodes behind. But all in all I would suggest watching a couple of episodes. After all, it cannot be that bad......
