...Lego City 7741 My son has now moved on from Thomas the tank engine and seems settled on Lego, It possibly due to that large variety of Lego available. I am reviewing Lego City 7741 which is the Police helicopter If you want to read any of the history of the Lego company I have included there link at the bottom of this review for you. Assembling This is the part that all children and adults alike enjoy very much, this particular product is aimed at age 5 and over. When you open the box for your child, you will be pleased to see easy to follow instructions. I tend to pour all the pieces on to a tray to stop them going missing and then turn them all over the correct way so it is easy for my son to follow. Is it a bird is it a plane, no it's dragonfly

Disadvantages: Not until your brain freezes up

...Oh the fear and the horror, the intrigue and the suspense. Where were they? Like a poor and painfully stretched episode of the X files, Dragonfly lurches from one predictable twist to another led by the charmless Costner. Is it an overdose of Botox that has done this to the once lauded actor? Is it design that causes the most emotionless 'performance' since 'Waterworld'? Postman Pat has been modernised and there is now a newish tv programme on tv where Pat flies a helicopter to delivery parcels! ~Contents~ 1 helicopter 1 harness 1 cow The helicopter is made out of plastic and is mostly red in colour with little hints of white and yellow. On the helicopter you will find a grey step on each side with a door which you can open and close. There is a black seat in the cockpit where Pat sits and right at the very front of the helicopter is a little space for Jess. ...The Disney Cars Dinoco Helicopter is part of the Disney Cars range and is made by Mattel. It retails at £20 from the disney shop but is often cheaper on the high street and internet, around £15. It comes part boxed so that the kids can mess with it on the shelf in the shops! It was given to my four year old son as a gift and comes with a truck inside. The truck is the Mater character, a tow truck. At the end of the film Mater gets to ride in the Dinoco helicopter and this is where this toy originates from. The main feature is the little grey button at the side of the helicopter door, when this is pushed the door flips down and Mater drops out saying phrases from the film. It doesn't sound like much but to a car mad four year old it's pretty good fun! The helicopter is a good size for the price, its about 30cm long by 15cm...

Disadvantages: Too light, hard to control

...I got this one from my girlfriend as a present for something, since I was talking about RC helicopters quite for a while then. I will try to mention pro's & cons as briefly as i can: PROS: Light, quick charge, small enough for indoor use, sufficient battery life (control), literally unbreakable, easy to modify (great fun!) - just add weights (pins) or sticky tape. CONS: Too light to be used outdoors (wind), reacts too greatly to its own air waves (lowering to the ground shakes the Picooz), pretty hard to control, flying forward requires skill, noisy vibrations of the gear (appears in the middle of a speed range) impedes flight direction, precision of control changes gradually with battery discharging, no use of a LED light "for night time flight". However, all in all it is fun toy to have, and if you are bothered by those cons...

...I received this product for Christmas and have had a lot of fun playing with it. It is a simple 2 rotor design remote control helicopter made from black polystyrene. The two rotors work independently so their power can be adjusted to give a more stable flight. The controls are very simple with a thumb stick to control lift, one to control turning and a dial in the middle that adjusts the amount of power to each rotor individually so the helicopter will remain straight and not spin in flight. The controller uses infra red signals to control the helicopter and has a side compartment which opens to reveal the "Docking Port" which is where you plug in the helicopter to recharge it, which is very simple to use. Also in the box are stickers to decorate the helicopter making it more appealing and also a very useful instruction sheet...

The range is very extensive and prices range from as little as a few pounds for a simple set to the rather upmarket sets which cost a few hundred pounds. Did you see that? Did you hear that? Spooky!!!!!

Advantages: Supernatural thriller, great storyline, good suspense.
Disadvantages: Could have done with more extras, they all seemed to be rather short

Keven Kostner Returns In Sixth Sense Style Yawner

Willis' role was very downbeat, but being dead he had an excuse, Kostner's idea of upbeat is an Armish knees-up so seeing him deliberatly play downbeat had 'painful' written all over it. The combination of these elements gives you...thats right, yet another contender for the Turkey of the Year award! Thankfully I didn't pay to see it because Dragonfly can be described as 'weak' at best, bloody awful if you are being slightly more realistic. Its the kind of suspense thriller which relies heavily upon an ever growing feeling of suspense and the way it keeps you guessing right until the very end with spooky supernatural elements thrown into the mix toshake things up a little.
