Gameplay Gameplay is split into 3 different stages, shooting, platforming (climbing, swinging etc.) and puzzles, shooting takes up most of the game and thank god for that becuase that is the best, the player you play, drake, uses cover to kill his enemy, this means you have to use tactics instead of running and gunning. there can be waves of man all coming to kill you so this cover system is needed in order to survive. u can cary only 2 guns at a time and 5 grenades, this makes ammo essential becuase with only machine guns/shotguns and handguns to be used you will have to search every body in order to find ammo. you also have hand to hand combat for a quick kill. platforming is fun, but you couldnt make a game of it. and lastly...

...I was always interested in buying this game but since I already had Assassins Creed I didn't think it would be worthwhile since they looked pretty similar. But once it came down in price and the 'Trophy System' had been added I decided to buy it. I'll start off by saying that the trophies are extremely easy to get. You get them by simply killing people a certain number of times with a certain gun or by a combo, things like that. The gameplay is alright. I sometimes got annoyed when I tried to jump for something and then your character (Nathan Drake) jumps away from it. At the beginning killing the bad-guys is nothing other than a nuisance, but it becomes a little more fun trying to kill them nearer the end when there are more of them with better guns. ...Nearly a year after it's original release and Uncharted: Drakes Fortune remains one of the highlights of the Ps3 lineup. I originally played this on release but with it's recent addition to Sonys Trophy system i decided it was worth a revisit, and i wasn't disappointed. The graphics, although still impressive, have been superceded by titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4 but the fun and freshness of Uncharted remain. ...Uncharted really is a bit of an odd game, plot-wise. You play as Nathan Drake, who's a treasure hunter. The game starts on a boat, you've just recovered the cofin of Sir Francis Drake and open it to find its empty, except for a diary. A woman, Elena, is on the boat with you filming you for a television show. Pirates then attack and you then travel to places such as El Dorado, a Nazi U-boat (where your mentor is killed) and an island jungle. The game has two main elements, platforming and combat. The platforming works very well with a mixture of puzzles and plenty of leaps and jumps. You also get to use the six-axis to balance when you walk across planks etc. The best feature of the combat is the brilliant cover system. Like Tomb raider, but you play a bloke called "Nathaniel Drake" (aka Nate) who is meant to be a long distant ancestor of "Sir Francis Drake" who apparently had discovered the treasure of "El Dorado" but had kept it secret. The new drake is on the Hunt of the lost treasure. 720p graphics, single player, Dolby Digital or DTS soundtrack. It looks and sounds sweeeeet/ Plenty of shooting and island based fun. There are minor puzzles to solve and cliff's, ledgeds, platforms etc to scale. If you get stuck (after a while) the game gives you "Hints", whereby you hit "L2" and the camera points you in the right direction. Which is handy because sometimes its not always obvious.
