...The Ikea Malm set of three drawers have a design that is simple and minimal. The unit I purchased had an oak veneer finish. They are also available in white, pink, birch veneer, black brown and medium brown finishes. There is much to choose from in the Malm range. There are two drawer and six drawer chests available as well as beds, dressing tables and other forms of storage. So it's possible to pick and match a number of furnishings. The oak veneer on this chest of drawers has a textured laminate feel to it and in terms of appearing like real oak I would give it 6 out of 10. For me the oak imitation is a little too uniform and could do with a but more character. I must say that the drawers looked better under the spot-lights of my local IKEA store than they do in my bedroom and after having the chest of drawers for just over 12 months...

Advantages: Lots of space for changing baby, very well built, will last for ages

...On one of my many trips to IKEA during my pregnancy I came across this changing unit and could not believe how cheap it was compared to other units I had seen elsewhere. I had read a lot about what makes a good changing unit and having looked at severa I realised one fatal flaw in them all - that the unit was only big enough to put your baby on which meant you had to purchase a seperate table to put by the side to house all of the equipment needed for changing, washing etc. Those that did have the extra space were extremely expensive. 512mb memory unit - too small?

Advantages: SMall and easy to take around with you and for storing game saves
Disadvantages: Expensive and a hard drive would be far more beneficial

However if you opt to go for either the premium console or the elite console you will get the main hard drive for free and will have less need for these. ...Working part time in a pet shop I get to see and sell lots of products and I know what gets returned if the product does not last long. The Rotastak Space Command Unit is more for lads as girls prefer the girly colour ones. Its recommend for hamsters, mice and gerbils but personally gerbils love to gnaw so if you have gerbils, don't waste your money buying this. Mice smell stronger so buy a cage which has more air vents. Cage size is approx 2.5 foot long (30 inches), approx 21/22 inch high and 19/20 inch deep. If you want to be more adventurous you can add more tubes however be prepared to have plenty of space to expand your set.
