Imagine the following: It's 9.30 pm, it's dark and you skate within 2000 people on a 4 lane well asphalted road, watching the century-old barok buildings on the other side of the river Elbe. They are floodlighted and in front of you is a car with music. Thats what Dresdens Nightskating (Nachtskaten) is about. It runs every friday in the summer period and is the greates weekly attraction in our city. The Dresden Nightskating was one of the first ones of these events (may 1998) now establisht all over Germany...

Four Points Dresden

Advantages: Very clean, great service
Disadvantages: A little way out of the main tourist area

Location The only difficulty we had was with the location of the hotel, we should have looked into this before arriving in Dresden to make sure we knew where we were going as we were using public transport, and the hotel was out of the main city centre. Dresden Saxony. Baroque high tech and dream food

Advantages: Great arts and history, nice people, great food
Disadvantages: Weather (sometimes, still better than most uf the UK ;-)

...Dresden has to offer a lot! Especially if you consider to take a dive into German history, enjoy the arts and fine cuisine (yes, Saxony is the only German place for fine and not too heavy food). After the wall came down in 1989, Saxony went back to the roots of the old kingdom (August the Strong or Augustus I has been king of Saxony from the late 17th century) by naming Dresden the capital of Saxony and trying to restore as many as possible treasures that have suffered under the former communist regime and many wars before that time (7 year war late 18th century, Napoleon's occupation in 1815 and the second world war with massive bombings by the allies). Generally Chaotic

Advantages: Multiplayer, nice animation, quirky
Disadvantages: Pales into obscurity versus todays technology

...I decided to write a review of this seeing as I've never met anyone else who has ever heard of this bar my own brother. we used to while away the time on this simplistic army game. The game is named after one of the storyline's main General's. The conflict in question is between the blue forces of 'General Chaos' and the red troops of 'General Havoc.' The game is a very cartoony offering from EA, released in 1994 on SEGA Mega Drive. It is a mulitplayer compatible game and two players can play either co-op or against each other, and if I'm not mistaken, it was also possible to play 4 player with use of the special multiplayer pads. I no longer own this game and as a result am reviewing this from hazy childhood memory. Review of General Chaos (Mega Drive)

A LOT OF LUXURY FOR NOT TOO MANY EUROS

Advantages: Value for money. Sparkling clean. Superb food.
Disadvantages: Noisy trams if you get the wrong room.

...An apology for boring you all with yet another travel / hotel review, but hopefully this one will be just a little different, due to our initial and entirely unscheduled discovery of this particular hotel. Indeed you could say that the room here fell into the "panic purchase" category. We needed a room for the night in Dresden and the Astron (as the NH was then called) had one available. In actual fact more importantly than us, my then fiancée and I, needing a bed for the night, it was essential that we found secure parking for the car. The circumstances, you need to understand, both personally and on the global stage leading up to our very first stay in Dresden were to say the least, slightly unusual. GENERAL Turkish Wine

Advantages: Better than Greek wine
Disadvantages: Four times more expensive than similar french table wine.

...Having made a hash of slotting my two last reviews into the right category, I found this no easier. I just want to talk about wine in Turkey - in general - and if you are contemplating a holiday there for the first time - what you might expect to buy. Firstly I went to Bodrum on a sailing holiday in October 2006 and had a fantastic holiday, sailing out of Bodrum, which is absolutely gorgeous - a gem in fact, with such friendly people. I actually didn't want to go, having worked in Turkey near the Iraq border twice before.How wise I was not to refuse to go (which was on my mind) "Toursit" Turkey is like that however, but wine is not available in general off the beaten track. If you are travelling by car or by boat - stock up when you get the chance!! The Turks have been making wine like forever. It is not a new tourist gimmick...

Advantages: Very funny / Visually stunning / Extremely authentic looking.

Harlow in general.... Jeremy Kyle-esque?

Advantages: Lots of shops, some good bars & lots of nice takeaways here.
Disadvantages: Some of the people are just atrocious.

...I have lived in Harlow on and off for around 7 years now and have seen quite a few changes over time. Harlow has a few main areas such as The Stow, Staple Tye, Potter Street, Old Harlow & the main town centre. Each place has it's own shops, pubs etc and generally if you ask someone in Harlow where they come from it'll be "The Stow" or "near Potter St" rather than "blah blah street". There are two main shopping areas in the Town Centre and these are the Harvey Centre & The Water Gardens both within two or three minutes walk of each other and hosting a variety of bars, cafes, restaurants etc and some of the big stores such as Primark, Next, M&S, Top Shop, Jane Norman, JD Sports, Burtons, etc and there are also Supermarkets in the form of Tesco & Asda. When a sales representative comes to your house, he should have a sample window frame with him, I would recommend you ask to have alook at this before you buy it, so you no exactly what you are getting, once the windows have been fitted there is no turning back. A few points:- Make sure the window is sturdy and ask what is in the middle on the frame, (the part you can't see) you would be expecting on a standard window for this to be either steel or some sort of metal internally. Some companies only put plastic in the middle. They you need to one the sample window to see what the opening mechanism is like, e,g it is study and easy to open or is it stiff...

... General Information The city of Barcelona stands in the heart of the Catalonia region in the east of Spain. Being the 2nd largest Spanish city, it boasts both the fast-paced city atmosphere yet also an open coastline with sandy beaches. Hotels can be found all across the city to suit everyone's tastes and ideal locations - may I recommend the Hotel Balmes on Calle Mallorca as a very good value 3 star hotel in a great location for the average tourist like me (see my review for this hotel should the mood take you). Transport The transport system seems very well run as there is an underground train network running to all the main attractions and back to the city centre on a very regular basis and at a very good price - we bought a 10 journey ticket which made each single journey just 77cents...such a good price when you think...
