...pleased to see that the came was packaged in a dvd rom because inserting and removing more than 2 cds is a pain and its made easier with just the 1 dvd. I don't see how anyone should complain about it being on a dvd because gaming technology has advanced so much for example textures are now much bigger and sounds are of the better quality due to the 5.1 surround sound found in computer games now. Also it is the year 2004, who doesn't have a dvd rom now, if you have the correct specs to play this game you should definately have a dvd rom in order to play this. Back to the game, after i installed it i immediately went to the career mode to take my first test drive of this game and see if the career mode is deserving of this game being called a sequel. Advantages: fast paced, good Call of duty fun. good looking
Disadvantages: short, insanely unbeleiveable storyline (in parts), poor multiplayer support for PC

...Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC) *Warning, may contain spoilers* After a week of sitting at home on my bum with my foot in a cast, I finally managed to work out a way to get to my PC and still keep my foot elevated. It was neither comfortable or pretty, but it allowed me to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 installed on my PC at last. Parallel Lines: Driver has disappeared

Advantages: graphics career weapons car choice

Atari had obviously seen the success of GTA San Andreas and tried to model the game around that. All the features that made Driver games what they were are gone. On the other hand, Driver 4 does have very good graphics and the maps represent a realistic reconstruction of New York. The graphics are not only good on the cars, but the surroundings as well. The car choice also boasts a good range. Since the career of the game is set in 2 timezones (1978/now), the game allows you to switch between them in free roam. BATTLEFIELD 2 FOR PC

Advantages: online battles,plenty to play and never ends.
Disadvantages: Helicopters and Jet planes are quite hard to control but tanks and land vehicles are easy.

A huge improvement overall than Toca Race Driver 1

Advantages: Storyline far less cheesy than the first game
Disadvantages: Tad too easy, crash damage not as impressive as first game

...I was hugely excited when this game came out, after enjoying the original so much. And like the original, this game comes with the tangent from the original type of driving game with a storyline to follow alongside the gameplay itself. Although a good idea at first impressions, it was a good idea, the original game's storyline focused not on you, but Ryan McCane, a wingy American driver. However, this time, you are spoken to directly in 2, which makes the interaction far more personal. Your lack of speech does seem to make you a rather quiet character though! There is an impressive array of cars to choose from, although many of them have to be opened up through the championship and free races. ...Toca two offers Hi-res graphics, remodelled tracks, easy controls and real visual damage. The game is fantastic as there are a variety of tracks and cars to chose from. Also there is a two player option with is excellent. Included in the games is superb sound like explosions and the smashing of glass. Also there are multiple difficulty levels in the game. Overall the game is very original and will keep you entertained for a long time. In Toca 2 there are 5 main types of races. Championships were you race in a sprint race and a feature race at each circuit. The Challenge mode is where you have complete 2 laps of a circuit by passing through checkpoints. ...This is by far the most underrated games compared to its competitors on the market. It happens to us all some times. We are playing a game like Grand Prix and we are doing really well then disaster strikes, we spin off and by the time we are back on the circuit we have lost all chance of winning. So what do we do, we drive around the wrong way, wishing desperately that we could throw the car around corners and crash into the others cars without ruining our own. If this seems familiar then why on earth are you not playing TOCA 2. Super fast racing 3 abredth the track at 150pmh seeing who hits whom in the corner. Advantages: Brilliant Graphics and an Emotional Rollercoaster.
Disadvantages: Talk, talk and more talk - too much dialogues.

...I couldn't get my hands fast enough on 'Syberia 2' after a memorable experience with the first Syberia instalment. The graphics and storyline was exhilarating, it mesmerised me completely and I wanted to continue my adventure with Kate Walker, autobot Oscar and the toy maker Hans Voralberg. I do not feel you need to play the first instalment before 'Syberia 2', however, I would recommend this. You can get the grip with all the characters and to embark an insightful and emotional journey with them if you played it chronologically. You will also find out why Hans's character is so important and why would Kate Walker ever ended up with the crew.
