Driver 76 (Psp) A nice game but not enough action

Advantages: The theme is quite interesting, good choice of vehicles.
Disadvantages: Poor graphics, not enough missions. Lacks action.

...Driver 76 is a game based in New York. You are a character called Ray and you work for a illegal drug dealer called Slink. You do missions which include shooting, driving, and stealing cars. Missions The majority of missions are quite fun and interesting, but in my opinion the missions lack the action and excitement that you normally experience in games such as Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. Furthermore the missions are heavily based on driving as opposed to on foot. There are 6 stages of the game in which you complete certain missions you achieve your goal, which is shown in a video form of a comic strip at the beginning of each stage. Atari had obviously seen the success of GTA San Andreas and tried to model the game around that. All the features that made Driver games what they were are gone. They are all repaced with a lame replica of Grand Theft Auto games. Almost all of the typical features of the Driver series have disappeared. On the other hand, Driver 4 does have very good graphics and the maps represent a realistic reconstruction of New York. The graphics are not only good on the cars, but the surroundings as well. The car choice also boasts a good range. Since the career of the game is set in 2 timezones (1978/now), the game allows you to switch between them in free roam. Meaning that the car choice doubles when you switch between them...

...My game of the millennium has to be Driver the game is unique with it's huge gas guzzling american muscle cars and the slick power slides.The game also has other aspects which I love like the cops and if your cruising above 50 they will come for you. When you first play the game you will probably spend most of your time exploring and getting yourself in to persuits with the ploice but then as you get in to the game you will start to do the jobs which are available. The intro video is ace and will realy get you in the mood. A typical mission involves speeding across a city to some bar to pick up some guys then in about 45secs you have to get them to some bank then wait for them and then speeding of again. ...I recently managed to fill up my 80GB Hard drive with all sorts of rubbish and needed some CD's to store my information on. Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle. ***Product*** The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it. TDK CD-R80 is clearly stamped on it. There is plenty of room to write on them and they can store up to 700MB of data or 80 minutes recording time. Typically you can expect your order to arrive in around 48 hours. They always have a good budget range for sale, usually these are around the £6-8 mark. You pay p+p on top of these though. As expected you can search by artist, title etc, and look through the whole catalogue. There is very rarely a cd they do not have. Prices do vary though, and they may not be the cheapest around. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't! They do offer imports and rare releases.
