...for everything I?ve done that was billed as ??A Once in a Lifetime Experience?? I?d have £47.50!) . Anyway I digress?.
I originally tried to book online, but there were problems with my credit card being registered overseas so eventually I rang through and booked on the phone. The operator was friendly and helpful ? as are most call centre people in the US. My details and instructions arrived by email the following day. Swift and efficient.
You need long pants and closed toe shoes and that?s it really. I?m not sure if you even need a driving license.
I arrived around noon for an afternoon session beginning at 12.30 at the Walt Disney Speedway at Disney World Orlando. (TIP: When you arrive to visit DW for a normal day out, you can avoid the $12 parking charge by telling the gateman that you are visiting the speedway.)
So we arrived in...
Advantages: Being able to drive! Disadvantages: The F word - Failing
...out with my friends, just started working part time and was working on my A levels, to say my heart wasn't in it was a bit of an understatement. What didn't help was the fear and sickness I felt before each lesson. I was terrified. Looking back I think it was a combination of me being petrified of driving, and my driving instructor being totally unsympathetic.
That relationship was doomed and after about 10 lessons we parted company (not totally amicably but that's another story) My parents were understandably confused but I think they chose to let me get on with it.
Years passed and after going to Uni for 3 years (living in the city not needing a car) I found myself back at home, aged 21 and unable to drive. It was time to try!
After my previous experiences I thought long and hard about it and signed up with Anne in March 2008...
Advantages: Gets you from A to B. The independence! The freedom! Disadvantages: People always want a lift! Can be a stressful task, learning to drive...
...It's been a few weeks since I passed my driving test. It's been over a year since I first started learning. I didn't pass on my first attempt. I didn't pass on my second attempt. So as you can see it became quite a strenuous and stressful task, simply learning how to pass my driving test... both financially and mentally. Physically as well I suppose, as driving can be quite draining if you're concentrating hard for a long time.
But it's made me a better driver, and from a difficult and somewhat demoralising experience I've learnt how to deal with the pressure that people unintentionally put on you (When are you taking your driving test? How many times is that now?). I've talked to a host of people about building confidence and not giving up. So I've learnt much more about driving in general, overcoming challenges and how to do that...

Advantages: Compact, Secure, Scratch proof, Rugged, Easy Plug and Play Disadvantages: No disadvantages I have seen
...HI friends are you planning to buy a portable external hard drive. If yes, I want to share my experience of Transcend Store Jet 25 Mobile 320 GB. The model number is TS320GSJ25M. I am just impressed with the design and functionalities of this drive. First of all I want to say that it just look like a CASIO scientific calculator. The size of the hard disk is (134x80.8x18.8) mm (LxWxH). It s just weight 200 Gms. The drive is wrapped with a very soft scratch proof cover. Its design is very cute. You will just love it.
In India the price of this drive is Rs. 4000 about $ 80 on 26th Dec 2008. A little bit expensive than other 320 GB hard disk like Seagate's Maxtor. But Seagate Maxtor does not have scratch proof design and Shock Resistant design.
The Main features of this drive are:
1. This is very compact and Easy to use.
2. It...
Advantages: Has everything you want from a site Disadvantages: So much to do so little time!
...JK Rowling, the author of the renowned Harry Potter series, has sparked the idea of numerous websites being created by 'normal' people branching out in all areas. I have come across many of these in my search for a Harry Potter site to amuse me whilst waiting for the next book and films, yet I never came across one which combined absolutely everything you would want from a site. Until now...
******Site Overview******
The Hogwarts Experience was established on February 21st 2006 (1 year and 3 months ago at time of writing this review) and sports approximately 1200 members to date, a large amount of these very active members. It was created to offer people not only a space to share their love of Harry Potter, but also a safe haven to discuss just about anything and everything and grows bigger by the day. Whereas it started out as...
Advantages: WILL MAKE YOU INDEPENDANT, STRONG WILLED, MOBILE!! Disadvantages: COST OF LESSONS AND BOTH TESTS!
...First of all, as everyone who wants to learn to drive will know it can be a very stressful time. I started to learn about six months ago, to begin with I started shopping around for quotes on lessons and was surprised to see how expensive they were £25.00 a lesson, but this didnt put me off, nor should it put you you just need to think to your self is it all going to be wroth it in the end?
Every person is different and each individual takes different times to acomplish things, so dont be put off if one of your friend's or collegue's pass way before youve even if you haven't started to think about your tests. It's not a race.
The theory test comes first. I was so scared when I booked mine I was just so worried I was going to fail, so I brought myself a high way code book/ theory test book and a cd rom, these were great...
Advantages: Well run activity area Disadvantages: Stairs!
...Having grown tired of some of the activity areas where children are encouraged to run round screaming, then frequently get lost for a period of time, it was time to find something new. About a year ago, little lady was invited to a party at the Ceramic Experience and we haven't looked back since.
The activity area is located off a main road in a very small industrial estate; when you drive off the main road, there is ample parking space and so far, we have never had to struggle for a space.
Through the door and you are faced with the logo of the Ceramic Experience, whcih is a great big daisy. Colourful pictures lead you up the stairs to the first floor. This first floor concept is going to be the one thing I mention which I don't like about the Ceramic Experience (from now on c.e.). The area is designed for children and it seems...
