...Passing your test! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ When I first started taking my driving lessons I actually thought very little about the actual test itself and just carried on as normal. I sort of knew I was good enough to pass and had a feeling I’d pass first time… Yep, this feeling was wrong, but there you go. First things first, to start learning to drive you first need to get a provisional license, which now comes in the form of a little green card with ‘DVLA’ stamped all over it in clear writing. The theory test ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The theory test is something you should try to get out of the way as soon as you possibly can, in my opinion, so you can focus on your actual practical driving skills. ...and my ADI drove me home. From the second lesson onwards I had two hour lessons, which I would recommend because often you are a bit tense and rusty at first and you need some time to relax. My ADI drove me to the same estate for the second lesson, and from there I drove home at the end and all the time for every lesson thereafter. I had two x two hour lessons a week, which was good because I did not forget things so easily between lessons, and I wanted to go for my test quite quickly. At first I found the steering tricky, and so we spent most of the first 10 or so lessons just driving around quiet roads doing left and right hand turns, so I could get used to the coordination of gears, steering, hands and feet! My advice would be to ask your instructor to allow you plenty of time to get the basics in hand before you start... Read review

...First of all, as everyone who wants to learn to drive will know it can be a very stressful time. I started to learn about six months ago, to begin with I started shopping around for quotes on lessons and was surprised to see how expensive they were £25.00 a lesson, but this didnt put me off, nor should it put you you just need to think to your self is it all going to be wroth it in the end? Every person is different and each individual takes different times to acomplish things, so dont be put off if one of your friend's or collegue's pass way before youve even if you haven't started to think about your tests. It's not a race. The theory test comes first. I was so scared when I booked mine I was just so worried I was going to fail, so I brought myself a high way code book/ theory test book and a cd rom, these were great... Read review

...I am 21 years old and still do not have my driving license. I did learn when I was 17/18 and took my theory test, but then I decided to spend the last of my money on a month long holiday with my friends, and then I went off to University so driving just kind of came to a halt. Finally, I have my own car (thank you to my Parents) and so I am learning again, taking my practial test next month. Now before I could book my practial I had to retake my theory as the test certificate runs out after two years and more than two years had passed since the first time I took it. So I booked my theory test and took it last month. Luckily I passed only this time it was much harder. The first time I took my theory test it consisted of 35 multiple choice questions of which you had to get 30 correct to pass. these were on all areas of driving... Read review

...Ok, I rented this game as I wasn't sure about it's quality, I know that many people have written glowing reviews about this game but I'm afraid I won't be one of them. I was a fan of the early Test Drive Games on previous computer systems and liked the idea of a free roaming map with mission type races and other challenges but somehow Test Drive Unlimited doesn't have quite the apeal I hoped for. First off the look of the game; I know it was released some time ago but I'm not convinced its actually neg gen quality. The trees, cars and houses look boxy and basic, in fact you could say they look like something out of a computer game which isn't what next generation graphics should be. ...hi can someone help i am 22, i have 2 children and on the 20th dec 206 i have my driving test, i used to love driving and going out on my lessons but as i am getting nearer to the test i dread my lessons,my instructor has told me i am a fantastic driver and i knew i was, until the other day when i had a mock test, that i failed in 10 mins, with 2 mjors and 9 minors, he said that its good to fail the mock test so he can see what we need to focus on but it has kncoked my confidence big time, i was looking forward tomy test now its become something i hate even thinking about but thats all i can seem todo is think about it, i cry myself to sleep worrying about it, i dont eat i dont talk to anyone. i have told my instructor but he cant understand it as i am a brilliant driver and that he would be very suprised if i fail. but i am really... ...Test Drive 5: Introduction: Test Drive 5 is a racing game utilising 3D accelorators, giving great graphics. The game feaures numerous cars, such at the Dodge Viper, and severl other of todays modern cars, aswell as old cars. the game has about 15-20 tracks Why did I buy this game: I brought this game because when I looked at the box , the grahpics looked great, the game modes were excellent , and the game was not too expensive.
