...I was having a really bad hair day a couple of weeks ago, though it was my own fault as the night before I hadn't washed my hair out of laziness! I have the type of hair which does need washing on a daily basis or else it looks greasy, dull and lifeless the day after. My hair was that bad due to it not being washed that it made me feel really awful and self conscious. A work colleague recommended that I try Batiste Dry Shampoo for such occassions. I took her advice and purchased a bottle from Tescos on my next shopping trip. I paid £1.99 for a 150ml cannister, which I thought was quite good value for money. The cannister itself is a bright yellow colour with a jade green plastic lid. The cannister is re-cycleable and is found amongst the normal shampoos on the shelves. Bellstaf Dri-Bika Water proof Suit

Advantages: Small compact and 90% waterproof
Disadvantages: It is not for everyday hard use

Miles away from home the heavens opened and at first I just resigned myself to the fact that I was going to get wet as the waterproof suit was so light and comfortable I forgot I had it. Then I remembered and pulled up under the bridge of a junction on a dual carrageway. Hoped off the bike and unpacked the suit, it was on in seconds, the only problem I had was getting the ankles around my boots, apparently putting a carrier bag over your boots makes this easy as they help you “slide in”. Advantages: Great for those who dont have time to wash greasy hair!
Disadvantages: Leaves hair feeling a little rough to the touch.

The dry shampoo is perfect for inbetween washes, as you know washing your hair everyday can be bad for your hair, especially if you don't use conditioner, as it washes out all the nutrients, but if like me, your hair gets greasy quickly, then this product is excellent as you can just spray it on when you need it, and it instantly covers the greasiness. Sometimes, if your hair has been very greasy if you use this, your hair is hard to brush through, and feels heavy and thick, and has no shine to it, as this isn't what its for, for best results; wash hair 3 times a week, (i.e Monday, Wenesday, Friday or whenever suits!) and use this inbetween washing! ...Embassy Suites On a recent visit to California, I was booked into this hotel because it was close to places I had to visit for work. The hotel itself is only a short drive from the airport (it took about half an hour in a hire car, and not knowing where I was going) and is located in La Jolla which is apparently quite an affluent area, featuring banks and houses and hotels as well as restaurants and a rather nice shopping mall. It's easy to drive into the hotel and should you ask for it there is valet parking in the high rise car park, but I just parked round the back of the hotel. ..."Suit" is the second half of a double album by Nelly released in 2004. It has him work in his smoother form, with music which is more R&B-like, than suited to rap. This means that you have a choice with Nelly's music, whether you enjoy his grittier side, or his singing side, to then pick a CD to match your preference. 1. "Play It Off" To set the scene for this album, we get a massive collaboratiion by Nelly as he gets a chance to rp as Pharrell does the production and singing for him. Although their work rarely comes together, when it does, such as in "Flap Ya Wings" (off "Sweat"), it is always top-quality. The pair work together amazingly, and with the futuristic Neptunes beats, and Pharrell's great falsetto singing, it all came together nicely. **Four Stars** 2. ...I first started using this product when I was a teenager and now I try have a can in incase of a bad hair day emergency. My hair is naturally thick and wavy and takes ages to dry and style, so I find Batiste useful if I don't have time to wash my hair and I'm going out. The packaging is fairly simple and old fashioned looking and the product itself has a pleasent, clean smell. You apply it like a hairspray and the product goes on as a fine powder which you brush through your hair. My hair is currently brunette so I find I need to spend more time brushing it through than when my hair was blonde, however it's quicker and easier to brush this product through the hair than talc....

...I've been looking for a dry shampoo like this for a while but thought they were all out of my price range, as I didn't want to spend a fortune on something that wasn't any good. That was until I saw a review on here, stating how good it was and also the price - £1.99. For this price, I thought you couldn't go wrong really, because if it ended up being rubbish, it hasn't exactly made me skint, so I thought... why not? I read some more reviews on it, and the majority of them had got 4 to 5 stars. So the next day I went in to boots, and searched the store for it. Once I had found it, it was priced at £2.09, so me, being the cheap skate that I am, went across to Superdrug and found it in there for £1.99. ...As the warmer weather approaches and the waters around the English coast begin to heat up a little bit I sometimes wonder if the temperature will perhaps rise enough for me to dispense with my bulky dry suit and all the thermal gear and be able to slip into my Pinnacle Stealth semi dry suit, when I say slip what I actually mean is to squeeze, curse and contort my body into said suit as the only main criticism I have of this suit is that it is not the easiest to get into.
