DS Delight

Advantages: too many to list
Disadvantages: none that ive seen so far

... How I Discovered It I knew about the DS like most other people, through word of mouth. I never had the desire to buy one until the beginning of 2008 when for some strange reason I set my heart on getting one. I think it was because I had seen the adverts for brain training on the tv a lot at this point, they were on almost every day. Then I played on my friends step-mums DS and that was it, my mind was made up, I had to have a DS, all I had to do was figure out how I was ever going to afford one. Price and Availability The DS Lite on it's own is generally £99.95 on it's own in most shops, obviously on some online shops/auction sites you can find it cheaper, but generally the cheapest I've seen it sell for is around £50. It usually works out cheaper to buy the DS as part of a bundle that includes one or more games...

DS Lite!

Advantages: Fun, easy to use, great features, great games!
Disadvantages: Once you pick it up its hard to put down

...I own 2 DS Lites, my son has one and my partner does, they come in a great range of colours Black,White,Pink and the newer Blue. The touch screen on them is great, it makes the games so much more fun and with games like super mario you get mini games that all use the touch screen and they are great fun. As for the size of it well i carnt complain its small quite slim and light! hence the name. As for the age recomended on these my son has had one since last christmas and at the time he was 3! and after about a day learnt how to use it better than me lol. some games can be akward for smaller children but the likes of super mario, mario kart, shrek, cars ect are great for them. Its also very durable my son has dropped his on tiled floor, sat on it and god knows what else and its fine, its also very easy to keep clean. From...

DS - Cool Toy!

Advantages: Small and Fun
Disadvantages: The Colour is white!

...What a fun little gadget. It's small but lovely. Its just what you expect from Nintendo. It's very small, but the screen is very clear to see. Its very easy to use, so it a good little tool to keep the kids quite for a little while. The DS, has been out a while now, so there are plenty of games for it, which range from around a fiver to about £25. Its also touch screen which makes this little thing a bit more entertaining. The price for these little bad boys is relatively good value for money, so if you have an extra bit of cash lying around and you feel that your a bit bored, then I would recommend that you get one of these little toys to keep you entertain for hours on end. Another good feature to the DS is that you can also use GameBoy Advance games too. They slot in at the bottom. You can get GBA games from about...

Nintendo DS

Advantages: Touch Screen, Affordable
Disadvantages: Bad graphics with most games

...After already owning a PSP I felt I had all the handheld gaming I needed however many of my peers owned Nintendo DS' so I thought I would buy one in conjuction with the release of Pokemon Diamond after being a big fan of the series and I liked the potential of the DS. The main reason for the DS' success has been marketing as well as affordability and game selection. The marketing campaign which is very popular with nintendo is connectivity which is extremely true with 98% of all DS games using connectivity around the world, with friends and even with a Nintendo Wii. The selection of games for the DS are great for both old and young with many ideas from looking after a pet dog to testing your brain and now you can play a guitar on it. However is you are critical on graphics then the DS is not a great console for that as only one...

DS Pink

Advantages: Fun for all the family
Disadvantages: None

...My daughter had been asking me for a pink DS for months since she had seen her friend playing on one, so I said to myself that I must get her one for Christmas. I bought mine early enough, I didn't realise they were going to be so hard to get hold of over the xmas period. Well it was what she wanted so I told all the family what she wanted. What you receive when you buy the DS is: 1 Spare Stylo, a charger, obviously the DS lite itself. You also get a manual. The DS has two screens which is quite cool really and DS actually stands for Dual Screen. The DS's arelightweight and measures about 10cm by about 5cm and is about 2cm in depth. The DS comes in a variety of colours from white, pink, black, silver. I have also noticed a few red and blue ones on ebay. There are so many games that are available. I have we have only got...

Review of Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo DS Lite

Advantages: Stylus system Touch Screen Gameboy Advance Compatibility Small game cartridges wireless play
Disadvantages: graphics games are limited

...I had one of these for about a year until I sold it off for an Xbox 360 (good decision). I found the DS Lite has very good wireless play for friends in the area with one of them. The chat rooms are also quite useful if you are on a trip with several friends. As I found out, on a ski trip, I spent about 3 hours on the DS racing about 10 other people in Mario Kart; its a brilliant way to pass a journey. However, equally, it is also fun offline. Although the games don't have as good graphics as the likes of the Xbox 360 or PS3. They are still not bad and they do have the one of a kind revolutionary stlylus-touch screen system. This allows you to draw out the actions on the touch screen of the DS in certain games. More credit is put to the DS lite since it is compatible with the older gameboy advance games (quite a few consoles don't allow...

NINTENDO DS LITE

Advantages: I can communicate with friends when im on holiday
Disadvantages: nothing

...At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer. The Nintendo DS Lite, is a sleeker, Nintendo DS. The device employs innovative dual-screen and microphone-enabled gameplay as well as Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities, allowing for a growing list of original and fun games that you can't play on any other system. It is thinner and more attractive than the earlier DS, but it still delivers...

Review of Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo Ds Lite

Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -

...The Nintendo DS 'Lite' is a great portable console that comes in a range of colours for anyone who likes games made by Nintendo and other game makers who are associate with them. It has two screen's one touch and the other veiw only, this allows games to be more interactive and fun! The amazing thing about the Nintendo DS 'Lite' is that its lighter that the orginal (funny enough lol) this makes it more compact and easier to carry about. Games for the DS and also Gameboy advance games can be played on this console. Gameboy advanced games are inserted through the bottom slot on the Nintendo DS. However they do not have touch screen interactivity. Nintendo DS allows users to use a touch screen which is different to any other console on the market, this makes games more fun and interactive in some cases and is a very appealing...

Review of Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo DS lite

Advantages: so easy to use
Disadvantages: none

...This was bought for my son for a birthday present last year, I paid £109 for the DS, accessory kit and the game that came with it was Cars. I was not sure if he would be impressed with it or not (as he can be hard to please sometimes, like most kids these days) but as it turned out he was over the moon and I must add so was I , as I to, enjoy playing it. Another good point is that you can play the game boy advance games on it as well, my daughter has a GBA and they sure some their games which is really handy. The nintendo ds lite is really small and easy to use, you can either use the keys at the side or you can use the stylus, either way is good, Also if you have two DS lites in the one household you can send messages from one to the other, this is also really easy to do, in the main screen menu, you will see a symbol...

Review of Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo DS Lite

Advantages: Great gaming, light and easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery life isnt great

...Product - Nintendo DS Lite Price - Got mine for £99 4/5 Battery quality - I find I can play for half a day without any problems 3/5 Design - Small and light 4/5 Durability - I haven't broke it yet 4/5 The Nintendo DS is the updated version of the classic GameBoy by Nintendo. While the GameBoy was huge, the DS does not seem to have the same fame due to the huge popularity of the Wii. However, for a pocket games console, I would say this is the best one on the market at the moment. The shape of the console is small enough to put in a handbag, pouch or a large pocket but big enough you wont lose it. The top screen (within the lid) is a simple viewing screen, while the bottom screen is a touch sensitive pad allowing you to interact with the attached wand (which easily stores within the side of the console). This screen gives...
