It has two screen's one touch and the other veiw only, this allows games to be more interactive and fun! The amazing thing about the Nintendo DS 'Lite' is that its lighter that the orginal (funny enough lol) this makes it more compact and easier to carry about. Games for the DS and also Gameboy advance games can be played on this console. Gameboy advanced games are inserted through the bottom slot on the Nintendo DS. However they do not have touch screen interactivity. Nintendo DS allows users to use a touch screen which is different to any other console on the market, this makes games more fun and interactive in some cases and is a very appealing...

...I recently gave in and bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite and am delighted with this product. I am not one for platform games and am using mine to excercise my brain matter and have bought both Brain Train and Scrabble. Brain Train is good but a bit limited in what you can do but the Scrabble game is excellent, I spent a nine hour flight to Orlando glued to this game. My daughter and I have both sycronised our DS lites and are both playing Battleships against each other. As I am not a computer boffin I was a bit concerned about using the DS but it is really easy and self explanatory even for me! I would highly recommend this product not only for the entertainment value but because it works the brain, I am now beating my husband at Scrabble which is an achievment in itself!...

Disadvantages: Cannot play films, store or play music on the DS unlike the Sony PSP console

...I had wanted a DS for a long time, and when I received on for my birthday this year was instantly afraid it was going to be a novelty buy. It's a bit large to be classed as a truly "pocket" console like the gameboy advance or sp. The games range is limited, and the games themselves range from bland film spin offs to the very abstract and unique such as Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon. The games range does expand with the extra slot allowing the use of game boy and game boy advance games, making this Nintendo next gen portable console throughly backwards compatible. I am glad I stuck with this machine as I am now thourougly addicted. Brilliant The Nintendo DS

...First thing I love this console. It is slique, cool and absolutely beautiful. Compared to the normal DS lite they made it so much better and gave it a better shape. The reason I love the Nintendo DS is because it is a touch screen. This makes it very interactive, the different games that you get allow you to do different things on the touch screen. Such things like in Pokemon Ranger you can catch pokemon by drawing a circle around the pokemon. Or in Cooking mama 2: cooking with friends. You can use the stylus and touch screen to cut, grater, stir, break etc food. The amount of games you can play on this system is phenominal. ...This was bought for my son for a birthday present last year, I paid £109 for the DS, accessory kit and the game that came with it was Cars. I was not sure if he would be impressed with it or not (as he can be hard to please sometimes, like most kids these days) but as it turned out he was over the moon and I must add so was I , as I to, enjoy playing it. Another good point is that you can play the game boy advance games on it as well, my daughter has a GBA and they sure some their games which is really handy.
