...I have used Dell Inspiron 1545 for a couple of months. I'm glad I made right decision. My friend who works in computer filed suggested me this one after asking me my demand for a laptop.
First , I would like to say , it can totally meet all requirements I expected from a good laptop. I use it to write articles especially for my blog, to send and receive emails, to talk on MSN and Skype with my family and friends abroad. It never let me down. I also used it to watch TV including the programs on BBC Iplayer. Compared to my desk computer, I can feel the speed on my laptop was faster and the stability of the network was better.
Second, it has nice overall design. Slim, Simple and sleek. You have three colors to choose . I chose the black one that matches from outside to inside. The keyboard has all the necessary controls that I used...
Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

...The Dell Inspiron 1545 is an easy to use entry level laptop. Unlike two years ago when I bought my previous laptop, you can now get a number of Dell computers (of which this is one) direct from high street retailers. This is good if you want it in a rush and want a nearby place to handle any issues, but has the disadvantage that you can't customise your laptop to your own requirements to the same extent that you can if you buy it direct from Dell (which takes several weeks).
Because Dell are so good at allowing customisation, you need to be very careful when you buy that you actually get the one you need - they are not all the same, so you can't just go into a shop and say "Give me your Inspiron 1545" - you need to be sure that it e.g. has a suitable processor, enough memory and a big enough hard drive for your needs. ...The Dell inspiron laptop has an attractive classy look, it has a simplistic stream-line look. When I take it out its case I feel good about it because its not a big bulky embarassing computer thing. However, if your one for keeping everything clean and tidy and no smudges anywhere, then maybe you might be irritated by this laptop. With its glossy look smudges, smears and fingerprints stand out like a sore thumb. You feel like your constantly wiping it. You also have to watch what you wipe the laptop with as it is quite easy to scratch. A better idea for Dell would be to provide a cloth to clean it with, one they know wont damage your laptop. It would be a real bummer to scratch it while cleaning it. I also decided to get the colour black because there wasnt a lot of colours to choose from which I found quite dissapointing as...

...Having watched this film on Channel 4 at the weekend (I have the DVD also but just had to watch it) I've decided to review it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Although, I see that a lot of people have already seen it as the UK premier on Channel 4 attracted 1 million viewers!!
The Notebook is a beautiful romance that still makes me cry after numerous viewings. It is poignant, romantic, sad, hopeful and uplifting all rolled into one.
The Notebook was actually developed from a book written by the American author Nicholas Sparks in 1996. It spent over a year as a hardcover best seller.

The location and the plot are well thought out, a plesent soundtrack by Aaron Zigman.
It really is a joy to watch the story unfold. The main charecters are cast wonderfully.

The Notebook is a beautiful romantic film, which portrays two people's love for one another beautifully. From the very first time NOah sets eyes on Allie, until the beautiful, but sad ending, the film captures it all, including all the turmoil they must face - being together and apart.
Characters
There are two main characters in this film, Noah Calhoun, played by Ryan Gosling and later James Garner, and Allie Hamilton/Calhoun, played by Rachel McAdams and later Geena Rowlands. Throughout the younger years, the actors make the characters real, and allow you to become emotionally involved with their lives. ...Despite having two laptops at home, I bought this Mini 10 laptop as I wanted to bring it for my vacation. It is light,mobile and compact as I'm able to put it in my hand luggage during the flight. I don;t even bother to put it in the laptop casing provided.
The keyboard just perfect for me as I'm able to chat with my online friends easily and even typing it much faster esp repling tons of emails!
The screen can be seen clearly.Due to it light weight, it can be carried with one hand :)
The Performance of this Mini is very impressive,not even a lagging compared to some high-speed computer.
I hardly hear any fan noises but it can get warm esp at the bottom side....
