Bob on the Phone For You!

...Vtech - Bob The Builder Play Phone?.. This was yet another one of Jack's presents from Christmas this year and yet again one that truly is a good one. Jack's uncle gave this to him but I think if we had paid for it ourselves we would have spent around £15 as this is the standard price at most places I have seen it. The toy is basically a talking play telephone that has three different modes of play. These are: Can you learn it? Can you learn it? and Can you find it? The telephone has lovely large chunky buttons that light up when pressed or when the telephone calls them out. There is a yellow telephone receiver that can be picked up and replaced quite easily. I loved mine and I decided this would be really good for the role play corner as well as being a great baby toy so bought one for my setting online at Amazon. ~The Look~ Charlie the chatter phone is made of plastic and he has four red wheels and a blue base his upper body is white and he has a turn able rainbow dial with numbers 0-9 on it these make a ringing sound when you turn the dial , just like the old phones did. Charlie has a really friendly smiling face and his eyes move up and down when you pull him along by his string. ...So here we have it; a film shot in 10 days, only 81 minutes long, and pretty much entirely set in a phone booth... How good can it be? I asked myself when it was first released. People told me to watch it, and I thought why not, but for some odd reason it's taken me until it was on television last night to watch it. The film starts off with a publicist (Stu, played by Colin Farrell) who the audience instantly takes a dislike to because of the way he is treating people. WE see a few more minutes of a little background of the guy, until he walks into a Phone Booth about 5 minutes into the film, then BANG! I couldn't care less of that service but I was very interested in buying a a cheap PC phone to use on skype and I read this would work ok. The price was an absolute deal... 1p! You don't belive me? ...beyond euphoria is a very good hard house album. for those of you who don't know hard house is a very hard core, hard styling type of dance music which is characterised by a very fast tempo. some people like to call it agressive dance music. i think the choice of tracks for this album and the mixing by DT8 project is brilliant and gives the album an excellent finish. DT8 project have released some of their own songs such as "the sun is shining" and "winter" which were also very good. their track "winter" is also the first track on this album and i love it. infact winter is probably my favourite song on this album. overall my favourite cd is the first but the second is still fantastic. however, there first one has an excellent track called "no one on earth" by above an beyond who have mixed other euphoria albums. another great track is...

I'd Luv To Be In A Phone Booth With Colin Farrell

Advantages: Great idea and story, brilliant performance from Colin Farrell, exciting.

...I?m such a gigantic Colin Farrell fan, so watching ?Phone booth? was only inevitable. I dragged my mate to watch it and all I can say is I was not disappointed. One of the things that convinced me to see this was the fact that it focuses on Colin Farrell for the majority of the movie. Now what else could a Farrell fan ask for? I had actually heard a great deal about this movie before it was made. Jim Carrey was originally lined up to play the main role, and supposedly it was going to be a comedy rather than a thriller. He turned it down and the part was later offered to Will Smith who obviously turned it down also. And that?s where the lovely Colin comes in. How can a movie about a man stuck in a phone booth be exciting? I guess that was the question on my mind, with such a simple idea, could it be kept exciting without losing any...

Big phone

Advantages: Easy to ajust to. Life saver for busy lives.
Disadvantages: expensive.

...Ok i am a very busy mum so i decided to buy this phone. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. The keys are a bit small if you have big fingers like moi, but you get used to them. I Got mine on ebay so it was cheaper than the retail price, of which i am not sure of, but i got mine for about £130. It is easy to navigate your way through the toolbar. It has alot of applications. The camera is good quality, but you have to be rather still to take it so it does not blur, and in the dark it does not have anything fancy really to take pictures. It is easy to ajust to the phone. and easy to pick up phone calls. It does not have annoying ring tones. The battery life was surprisingly longer than i would have thought for such a big phone with many functions, about 12 hours, and then it quickly charges up again. Thought i would keep this review short...

This phone requires two aa batteries. It has an on off buton and 3 game play settings.
