After the blood transfusion, Joyce begins to experience deja vu everytime she sees Justin. It is as if she knows him, and she starts to experience some of his memories. The story is quite far fetched, that somebody can receive a pint of somebody's blood and know all about their memories, but the author has done it in such a way that you don't feel that it is far fetched, or fantasy in any way.
What I loved about the story were some of the characters. Joyce's dad is a complete character, and I wouldn't mind seeing this story in film just to see this character alone. He gives the impression that he is old and daft, but he is more together than you think. The next dozen or so tracks moved on a little in time but still remained in the 1960's. Many of these tracks such as Satisfaction, The Last Time and Paint it Black I had bought out of my pocket money as 45 singles. You know the old, small vinyl records. In fact I still have most of these but they are well worn, a little jumpy and mostly mono so the
quality is a little raw. It was good to here these tracks in pristine fashion although the more earthy sound seems more authentic.
The final tracks move on to the late sixties and into the 1970's. Unless my aged memory is playing tricks on me I think that is as far as we move in time with this CD. This suits me as I feel that The Rolling Stones were at their peak...

...As some of you will know I am a keen Scrapbooker and spend much of my free time on this craft ( when I am not on Dooyoo or Ciao!). There are lots of online craft suppliers but there are relatively few craft shops that you are able to actually visit. I am very lucky to have an absolute gem almost on my doorstep so I thought I would tell everyone about it and there maybe some crafters amongst you that would be able to pay it a visit--you would not regret it (although your bank balance might!)

A Maze of Memories is set just outside Long Crendon on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border.It is easily accesible from Bicester and Aylesbury. It is in a unit on Woodway farm. ...It is my 200th review on here and I wanted to do something a little bit different. As I haven't written a Ciao Café review for some time I thought that it would be a nice change. This topic caught my eye seeing as I am now almost qualified as a teacher and wanted to reflect back on my own school experience! So, the following are a selection of my ten best school memories. SOME HISTORY
The Korean War lasted from 1950-1953. It is not a war that gets talked about a lot, mainly because everyone concentrates on the Second World War which had only been over for five years and the Vietnam War. The War broke out when the Communist regime of North Korea invaded South Korea. The USA was afraid of the spread of Communism and so decided to fight to defend South Korea. Over 54,000 American troops were killed in the three year war (and a lot more UN troops as well).

Every year since I was a young girl, my family has celebrated bonfire night, getting a small box of garden fireworks and sparklers, with my dad setting them off in the back yard while we all sat in our hats scarfs and gloves watching at the other end of the yard! Usually with a glass of wine in our hand!!! (of course this was much later on in my life!). But I think my most memorable bonfire night was actually last year, when me and my husband went to my parents in Lancaster.
They live in a beautiful little village on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of the city, called Glasson Dock. And all around are other little villages just like it, they live on a Holiday Home site called Marina, where fireworks are the work of the devil and are banned (even sparklers!) so the usual tradition...

...I have used this site on many occasions to order items for my digital camera - I first came across it when searching the internet for a memory card and found these to have the best price along with free delivery.
