Advantages: Great show, well presented, helping to rid our streets of awful offenders. Disadvantages: Some of the reconstructions are very upsetting and it's because they're all true :(
...Crimewatch UK is a BBC programme which is on roughly once a month and aims to bring light to the public criminals who are wanted and crimes that have been committed as well as making people aware again of events that may have happened a number of years ago and where the culprits have still not been found.
There have been a number of presenters over the years and one of them was Jill Dando who was murdered outside her home. Crimewatch had a reconstruction and eventually her killer was found and imprisoned.
A number of crimes are covered on Crimewatch such as murder, rape, theft, burglary, muggings, stabbings, shootings etc and they have a part in the show where they show you the 10 most wanted people in the UK at the moment and advises you of some of the crimes that have committed and any of their known aliases. The show does advise...

Review of Crimewatch UK
Advantages: NON WHAT SO EVER Disadvantages: Are there any advantages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...and didn't understand what she was talking about which was a real insult. cheeky cow!!!! I then told the rep I needed to go out, she then started asking questions where I was going, when I was going to be back and if she could come back to discuss further finance options, I stated that she had told me what i needed to know and that we would get back in touch if we were to go ahead, she then telephoned another rep and said in front of us that "We were a waste of time", we then got up and offered to carry her bags out for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say I will NOT be going to SAFESTYLE UK for my windows. They can BOGOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Advantages: great big band music Disadvantages: none
...The Glenn Miller Orchestra UK was founded by Ray McVay in the 80's . This was done after talks with the Glenn Miller Estate, who had listened to many of Ray McVay's tracks.
Who is Ray McVay?
Ray McVay was born in the late 30's in Scotland. He became a professional musician at the tender age of 13 as a rocking sax player. In the 50's he became a music director for many big names such as Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Conway Twitty and Billy Fury.
As Rays name got bigger and better known in the music industry, and fronted his own show band known as the Ray McVay Orchestra. He started to play for the Mecca Organization playing around the country before headlining at Mecca's big venue, the Lyceum Ballroom in London's west end.. Ray McVay then became a household name in the UK when he was featured on the TV...
Advantages: The Beserkers greatest bout exists on this tape Disadvantages: Most of the matches are very poor.
...In 1991 the WWF (now the WWE) visited the UK to put on a mega-show that was to be shown on Sky 1. The venue was the London Docklands arena and they brought the whole roster to the show (including the world famous Hulk Hogan!), which lead to huge ticket sales. The event on video lasts 180 minutes, and is shown in it?s entirety which is very pleasing. It is certificate E, which means it has been unrated due to it being a sports event. It was released by Silvervision in late 1991 on video and in the future Silvervision hope to release this event on DVD (they have entered it for reclassification to the BBFC). The commentators for this event are Vince McMahon and Rowdy Roddy Piper, this is a great team as they complement each other?s style really well. The video comes in a nice plain box with a picture of the British Bulldog on, I like...
Advantages: on apprends beaucoup peut-être Disadvantages: es sollte nicht auf Englisch sein, vielleicht
...There seems to me to be one major problem with this category- If it's about telling others about UK culture, why the hell is it in English? Surely we have to explain to other's in their language, or is it a case of they have to be conversant with our language.....
Anyway, I will just state a couple of things:
Willkommen bei diesem Bericht. Ich hoffe daß ich ein bißchen über die Briten und unser schönes Land erklären kann, aber ich muß auf Englisch schreiben. Das tut mir echt leid!
Bienvenue à mon reportage au sujet de les personnes brittanique. Je suis très désolé, mais je dois écrire en anglais. Les utilisateurs de Ciao en Angleterre doivent savoir ce que j'écris.
There is very little that a newcomer to our green and pleasant land has to know in order to enjoy a visit. However there are one or two things that are useful...
Advantages: A gathering of wonderful golden oldies. Disadvantages: Let's face it, these are all repeats.
...UK Gold is a treasure, it really is. Where else can you go to find those Dr Who?, Blakes? 7, Blackadder, Red Dwarf and other gems like those? The answer is simple: no where else. UK Gold is not even restricted to just BBC golden oldies, either. Faulty Towers? You?ll find that here as well.
People often complain that there?s nothing on TV and whine that the quality of shows has gone down hill. It amazes me that the very same people don?t bother to check out UK Gold. Sure, you might have seen the series before but I?m willing to bet that there might be some episodes that you missed!
Another bonus in UK Gold is that they?ll play omnibus episodes of popular shows. You can, in effect, settle down with your bottle of irn-bru and watch an entire story of Dr Who? Or watch The Bill until you?re fed up of police uniforms.
The UK set...
Advantages: a good laugh at Terry Wogan's commentary Disadvantages: awful music
...Ah eurovision again, a chance for Europe to come together in a celebration of the diverse music of the continent - yeah right. More like the annual political love in.
Let's face it the UK does not take the contest seriously and most of us only watch it for Terry Wogan's commentary on it to see how many insults he can do. Can he break the 20 IPE (insults per entry) this year?
The UK has had a run of very poor results but then again we have had a run of very poor entries as well. Last years well the less said the better, 2006 - a rap what were we thinking? Not to mention the utter disaster of 2003 with 'Jemini' and the big fat zero. I won't go on, it get too depressing, (or embarrassing that I can remember it all.)
Whilst our entry is better than last year's - well let's face it it could hardly be worse I don't think it...
Advantages: Easy to use, fast, non-profit driven stance, honest recommendations, cracking credit cards! Disadvantages: More articles please
...I first heard about UK Credit Card King while I was searching for a new credit card to transfer my current balance onto. I had been with Barclaycard for a number of years and was paying a pretty high APR on my card, so I decided to make the switch. I'd already looked on a number of websites - moneysupermarket, fool, and various credit card comparators, and found that all the recommended credit cards seemed to be identical, and all had balance transfer fees. As I had a balance of £1700, I did not want to have to pay a transfer fee, so that I could save the maximum amount of money possible. A work colleague suggested I visit the UK Credit Card King website (www.creditcardking.co.uk) , saying that they'd recently got such a deal from there, so I decided to check it out.
The website appears to deal in one and only one subject - UK credit...
Advantages: Easy to remember domain names, no banners required Disadvantages: Tech Support is 75p per minute
...UK Fantastic is an excellent ISP. I personally do not use this as my first choice ISP as I use Totalise (ISP that gives me free shares in the company), however the service they provide is in my opinion excellent.
They offer a basic free dialup account with local call access and free web space.
The best thing about this is that your web site will have an easy to remember name. You have a subdomain within ukf.net which means you'll get a web site address something like:
http://www.getpaid4nothing.ukf.net
This is obviously much better than a long domain name with lots of funny characters.
AS well as 20MB of web space you are provided with unlimted email addresses for your domain.
Overall the speed and quality of the service is excellent and I have hosted my site with them for the last year with no problems.
Only...

Review of UK Fantastic
Advantages: There is always luck Disadvantages: Uk has no luck
...Through the years the Eurovision song contest has been both a happy hunting ground and a barren waste for United Kingdom acts. Winning on five times (Only Ireland has more) and achieving numerous second places, but, who can forget the disastrous nil points by Jemini with Cry Baby in 2003.
Indeed the United Kingdom has possibly the most illustrious history in the annual singing contest; the highest cumulative points total of any nation and the longest unbroken participation record. Unfotunatley though it is the already mentioned Jemini who paint a clearer picture of the UnitedKingdoms chances this year; the previous four contestant have recieved little points, living off the scraps of the odd six points here four points there.
* James Fox (2004)- 16th 29 points,
* Javine Hylton (2005)- 22nd 18 points,
* Daz Sampson (2006)- 19th 25...
