When watching a UMD video on the PSP the quality is excellent and plays just as if it is on TV so it is well worth getting if you dont play games and you just want a small screen to watch your favourite films on, just like a portable DVD player. Advantages: Popular brand dvd player which is simple to use

...we don?t have to listen to whatever it is she is watching, but can let her get on with it. For me, the screen is too small, but she seems to find it just right, although I wouldn?t recommend it for prolonged periods of viewing. The sound quality from the built in speaker is good, and it can be attached to the television to play dvds. This was actually a bonus for us when our own dvd player was broken; we simply plugged this in, and had the film showing on a small and large screen?very weird!
