I hope that my experience can be of use to anyone thinking of buying this toaster or one of its other incarnations - this toaster comes in a number of different colours. A Toast To Dualit

During the Summer, I've been more inclined to go for juice or fruit but as the Winter draw in (sigh) and we all have to get used to getting up in the dark, we'll be turning to the "comfort" things again. A handy bouncing hand mixer

Advantages: Powerful, lightweight, easy to use, fees great and convenient to store.
Disadvantages: doesn't have a stand or bowl

...I?ve owned this Dualit hand mixer for quite a bit. It may not be the most expensive or have the most attachments but it does what I need and has a couple of neat tricks. I have this neat black one but Dualit offer several other colours including chrome, ice blue, cream and red For those who don?t know much about Dualit they are a British company who make catering products for both the domestic and commercial markets. There products aren?t cheap but neither are they expensive, falling midway between the two extremes. They generally tend to be well made and reliable but I suspect every manufacturer has the rogue products made with a Monday morning hangover or in the Friday afternoon rush. Advantages: even toasting, aesthetically pleasing.
Disadvantages: comparitively expensive

...Having wanted a Dualit toaster for a while, i finally decided to ignore the comparitively high price and treat myself to the 20245 for 115 pounds. I eagerly anticipated my first slice of toast. When i did use the toaster i was not made to regret my choice of toaster. The Dualit is simple to use and thankfully does not include browning controls but simply relies on the user to determine their selected toast brownness which in my opinion is how it should be. I was impressed with the resulting toast which was not dry and evenly toasted across the entire slice and on both sides. Aswell as being very impressed with this toasters technical and cooking perfomance i also enjoy its asthetic qualities. The chrome body of the Dualit looks classy and not too vulgre. It really is as pleasent to look at as a toaster could be and graces my kitchen...

Funky Red & Silver Dualit 25071 LITE

Advantages: Awesome design, cool texture and colour, easy to change settings
Disadvantages: no removable slots, no special features e.g. defrost

...This review is about our little two slot toaster from Dualit. It's the 'lite' model as you can get the bigger and more robust mother version which I believe houses a mighty 4 slices. What attracted us to this one is it's design mostly. We ventured out to our local highstore mega retial outlet and ended up in powerhouse. Whilst drouling over pretty sparkly clean ovens and skyscraper fridges with ice dispensers and voice functions that ask you to close the fridge we were actually looking for a toaster. We already knew which brand we wanted because my mother has always recommended Dualit and it's a brand of toaster I've been fed from since a little girl and know just how long they do last, all we had to do was decide upon a model. A toast to the Dualit 40354

Advantages: perfect toast every time, easy to master, easy to clean, toasts from frozen

...With an insurance payout burning a hole in my pocket following a fire no expense was to be spared when it came to replacing the appliances ruined by fire. We paid £130 for the Dualit 40354 from Comet because it fitted in perfectly with our new kitchen and had 4 individual slots allowing the toasting of 8 small pieces of bread at once. The picture here on Ciao is identical to our model, looking beautiful in chrome, however the 40354 is available in several different shapes and styles, the ugliest in my opinion being the biege ceramic design. Compared with other toasters we have had over the years the 40354 is huge at 22 centimetres high, 21 centimetres wide and 36 centimetres in depth. It is massive but just looks amazingly cool. Perfect for Espresso- the Dualit EL60

Advantages: Grinds to a super fine powder for the perfect espresso
Disadvantages: Sometimes can't grind enough coffee in one go for a coffee maker.

...I bought the Dualit EL60 from "Whittards of Chelsea" in September 2008 to grind coffee beans for my "Gaggia Baby Classic" espresso machine and paid £28 in the end of summer sale. When making espresso by hand using a machine with a handle, you need to ensure that the coffee grinds are in a fine powder as this lets you can maximise the crème layer on your espresso. Being aware of this I quizzed the assistants in both Whittards and my local speciality coffee shop who both recommended this grinder to achieve the finest grade of powder for the perfect espresso. Though I have only used this for espresso I should note that with multiple grind grades the grinder can be used to grind coffee for all sorts of purposes including cafetieres. ...This dualit 72750 is a winner. It not only looks stunning, but is the most easy to use appliance ever. It has functionality and simpleness combined with a modern unique look.
