Dualit Kettle

Disadvantages: Perhaps the price?

...I have been using this kettle for around four months now and I've very pleased with the look, design and performance. We needed a new kettle and having been given some vouchers for John Lewis decided upon this kettle which was higher in price than we may have otherwise paid. I really like to sleek design and the colour fits perfectly with our kitchen. The kettle feels sturdy and is easy to clean. This model also covers a smaller surface area than our previous model, again something of a bonus. Having read another review I noticed that they found the boiling time unacceptable, I've timed mine (out of curiosity because I hadn't noticed this) having filled the kettle to max and flicked the switch, it boiled in 2.35 - this is acceptable to me, especially as I don't boil a full kettle on a regular basis. I wouldn't strongly recommend...

...As the owner of a great Dualit toaster,I thought a cordless kettle would match nicely,so I bought one.This kettle is described as 'probably the finest in the world', it looks attractive and is extremely robust.I filled it up and waited about 20 seconds and it made the most awful racket! I thought I'd been shot! It is very noisy and when it had boiled I tried to put the water in the teapot,but it spurted out all over the work surface. ...This dualit 72750 is a winner. It not only looks stunning, but is the most easy to use appliance ever. It has functionality and simpleness combined with a modern unique look. It is very pleasing to the eye and a conversation starter in any kitchen! In my opinion, it truly is a kettle that I will always have in my kitchen. Other brands I have bought have always deteriorated and started to look 'worn' from day one. ...Having read quite a few toaster reviews of late, I've come to the conclusion that a good toaster is, actually, quite hard to find. To me, fresh toast is as quintessentially British as tea and cake, one of the things I missed when I live abroad. ...Dualit is a household name, well it is around our home anyway. Our last 3 toasters have been Dualit and now we've got a sqanky little kettle too. Reknowned for quality, poshness and durability, it's a brand also well known for being rather pricey and our cute little kettle is no exception. For being the hippest kitchen on campus we had to part with £40 that we could have happily invested in the beverage econonmy sector commonly associated with saturday night time spent. However we thought we'd be sensible young adults and invest it in something that might last a bit longer and not reault in such violent sickness the following morning. Advantages: even toasting, aesthetically pleasing.

...Having wanted a Dualit toaster for a while, i finally decided to ignore the comparitively high price and treat myself to the 20245 for 115 pounds. I eagerly anticipated my first slice of toast. When i did use the toaster i was not made to regret my choice of toaster. The Dualit is simple to use and thankfully does not include browning controls but simply relies on the user to determine their selected toast brownness which in my opinion is how it should be. I was impressed with the resulting toast which was not dry and evenly toasted across the entire slice and on both sides. Aswell as being very impressed with this toasters technical and cooking perfomance i also enjoy its asthetic qualities. The chrome body of the Dualit looks classy and not too vulgre. It really is as pleasent to look at as a toaster could be and graces my kitchen...

Kettle chips

...When I sit and watch television in the evening I like something to munch, the `something` all depends on my mood. There are times when I reach for the biscuit tin, other times when a bar of Cadbury`s will do the trick and times when I feel like something savoury. There aren't many crisps and potato snacks that I don't like, but Kettle Chips have to be one of my favourite snacks. Maybe they remind me of my childhood, my Mum used to peel and slice some potatoes very thinly and then deep fry them, the result was much like a Kettle chip. Kettle chips are produced at a factory in Norwich, interestingly enough by a firm called Kettle Foods! this dualit toaster is a safe bet

Advantages: safe, fast, easy to use, and even easier to clean.
Disadvantages: the price.

...to cleaning the thing, the bottom pops open and the crumbs fall out. You do not get the crumbs hanging around the bottom and falling out whenever you so much as breath near it! We even went and purchased the kettle as we like the brand so much. A bit more pricey than the competitive brands, but you will soon see why....
