Disadvantages: you must climb a lot of steps

One part of the apartment is for the owners and another part for the guests. There is a parking place in front of the house which is a big advantage. The house is 400 m far of the old city but you must climb a lot of steps. It is not possible for people who are not trained.   DUBROVNIK THE CITY OF FREEDOM AND BEAUTY

Advantages: everything here is advantage
Disadvantages: not too many places to go out after midnight

..., and back to the Old Town and it coasts about 2 Euros per ticket. There are only two beaches that belong to Dubrovnik Town. The first one is the main beach and it belongs to a hotel resort and sun-bed per day coasts 9,5 Euros, which is pretty costly and unavoidable, because there is no shade on the beach, during the day. The other one is on the other side, nearby the other entrance of The Old Town, by the Fortress Lovrjenac. This is a very small but beautiful beach, used by mainly locals and the entrance here is free. The Old Town has three enters. One is very steer steps and therefore hardly used. The other two are more available for walking, called Pila and Ploce. The entire Dubrovnik is built up to the hill, so if you are having an apartment or private room up to the hill, you can loose a lots of extras by climbing up and down to the steer...

Apartment smelled of drains

Advantages: Nice pool, pleasanr helpful staff, appartment very clean
Disadvantages: Bathroom stunk of drains, kitchen antiquated, no kettle, toaster or hairdryer

SUNSHINE MAKES EVERYTHING LOOK GOOD: We made our way up to the pool area and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of big pools, lots of sun loungers and umbrellas, a couple of quiet bars and a restaurant. Estella Hotel and Apartments Did NOT Disappoint!

Advantages: Excellent location, superb customer service levels and lovely rooms

The booking was made via Expedia.co.uk and worked out at approximately £200 for 2 of us sharing a twin apartment (just £100 each basically). DUBROVNIK - A BEAUTIFUL CITY

Advantages: Beautiful scenery, short flight times
Disadvantages: hotel food is not of a high standard

...I have visited Dubrovnik twice, staying in both a 3 star hotel and a 5 star hotel. The hotel's are spotlessly clean, although generally sparsely furnished. There are few hotels in the Old Town itself, and most hotels are found on the Lapad peninsula. Hotel food is not of a high standard, and I would recommend staying bed and breakfast, and eating in Dubrovnik Town, where there are plenty of good restaurants, with reasonable prices. Buses from the Lapad peninsulka (3-5 kms) from Dubrovnik Town are plentiful and cheap. A "must" is a walk around the City Walls, although best done early morning before the mid-day heat! You look across the ocean and over all the beautiful roofs many of which have been rebuilt, having been heavily bombarded during the war. Advantages: Beautiful, Peaceful, Ample parking and easy to find.
Disadvantages: Isolated, Peaceful No nightlife.

The are a number of small towns with lots of pubs, shops and Edinburgh woolen mill shops around. There is Aberfoyle and Callender within 10 minutes drive which both have an array of shops and tourist centers. Around the area near the hotel is a number of large rocky mountains and mountain streams all within walking distance of the hotel. There are also three beuatiful lochs within 5 to 10 minutes that can be cycled round or just to sit by for a picnic, we took advantage of the picnic sites around the lochs quite frequently...

An early morning vista of white walls and terracotta roofs in the morning sun is a sight that will not be forgotten by any lucky enough to witness it. Terralta Apartments are the best

Advantages: Loads of Entertainment, lovely staff, Easy to get to the bus stop.
Disadvantages: It stands upon a steep hill which isn't that good for people with Health Problems

...I stayed here in 2005 and I went again in May 2007 for two weeks. I enjoyed everything about my Holiday to Benidorm(Where Terralta resides) that I would give the entire holiday a 10 out of 10. This apartment is mainly for people with Children, but the older people like it just as much. The only problem with going to these apartments is the steep hill that leads up to the apartments. So if you have High Blood Pressure, bad legs or back then this is not a good idea, but saying that there is a bus service that stops directly outside, which takes you to the new town for only 1 euro. These Apartments are not that far from the main centre of Benidorm so if you fancy a walk instead of getting the bus, its really not that far. There is two Swimming Pools, one inside and one outdoors. The inside pool is for when the Adults need to get away...

Althay Apartments - Cheap and Cheerful

Advantages: Clean, cheap, friendly staff, internet, phonebox, onsite shop
Disadvantages: Small pool, bad pool showers, stale towels, tasteless decor

...We booked our holiday to Fuerteventura for the12th-19th September 2007. Being September it was guaranteed to be pretty hot, as opposed to Spain or Greece, and was about the only place in our budget that was somewhere a little different to your usual Spanish or Grecian holiday. We chose Costa Calma as we were informed it had the best beaches on the island. The Althay Apartments looked sweet, unlike the high rise complexes found elsewhere on a budget holiday. For one week the apartment was £117 self catering so only £58.50 each. The flights were £145 each so £290 and the transfers £31 each so £62. The total was £469 for two people. Not the cheapest you can find but a very modest budget! Ideal for the student budget we had. We arranged a transfer taxi coach type thing from the airport which took a little longer than an hour...
