...Dudley Zoo first opened in 1937, and now stretches over 40 acres. The zoo is located a short walk from Dudley town centre (located in the West Midlands), and is not far at all from the bus station. There is no train station in Dudley but there are buses that run to and from many different places in the West Midlands located near by, including Birmingham and Wolverhampton. There is also a small car park next door to the zoo. Located on a hill, the castle is the remains of what was once a great building. The zoo is built around the castle and you automatically get free access to the castle upon entering the zoo. As it is located on a hill, there are some steep ramps and climbs in places which will make it difficult for wheelchair users to access. Sutton Circuit - Probably The Best Karting Venue in the Midlands

Advantages: Good track, good karts, good staff, clean, inviting

...Sutton circuit is based in a small village called Sutton in the Elms, near Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. I have been going to the circuit now for about 2 years, at least once a month. I have also visited many of the outdoor karting circuits in the midlands, and a couple a little further a field. I can honestly say that Sutton is the best maintained track, best maintaoned karts, and some of the nicest people you would want to meet. Some of the circuits I have visited, the quality of the karts is completely unacceptable when you are paying upto £45 for 30 minutes. In all of my time going to sutton I have only ever seen two karts break down, or have any mechanical problems. The circuit is around 600 yards long, and a good average lap is around 39 seconds whilst using the hire karts. The lap record using these karts is 38...

...Spike Dudley ; Commonly referred to as " Little " Spike Dudley - and rightly so as they are clearly mentioning his size in that statement, the reason? he is around 5'5 and 150 pounds (or as the commentators say " a buck 50 ") and so he does not have the look of a wrestler nor does he have the strength but he sure has the athleticism and heart of a wrestler. He does moves which quite frankly I at least; find hard to believe - such as where he is thrown around like a rag doll. Dudley Zoo and its amazing Animals

...Dudley Zoo, Well were do I start, I first went to Dudley as a teenager with a group of friends on a trip from our local youth club, were although we thought it was going to be a bit boring, we discovered it was a great and fascinating place, I have since returned a few times with my children, as little ones and when they were teenagers, and they have enjoyed it every time, Although I'm not overly fond of the idea of kept wildlife, I do understand that some times there is no alternative, if we wish to aid in preserving there future. And nobody does it better than Dudley. It is home to some of the Worlds most rare and exotic creatures, especially endangered species such as Asiatic lions, Sumatran tigers, lemurs, penguins, chimps and orang-utans. Dudley Zoological Gardens... an insider's POV

Advantages: More than you think!
Disadvantages: quite an expencive day out

...allows guests to get right up close, and even touch the lemurs, who quite happily interact wih the visitors. Also, just opened is a Wallaby walk-through. There are some empty enclosures at the zoo, but this is simpley becuase the 'curved concrete' enclosures are listed buildings and cannot be altered. The zoo provides a great day out for the family as there is always alot going on throughout the day, especially durng the school holidays. For the kids there is face painting, a funfair, an adventure playground and an activity centre. Also, throughout the day all guests can see the animals being fed, doing tricks and they can also listen to talks about the animals given by Dr Dudley himself. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. They are , in some cases, a little bit more expensive than others, but the amount of seeds per pack was impressive. Prices range from, 99p for the more common seeds, like radish, lettuce and spring onion. Up to £1. 79 for runner beans, broad beans or garden peas. In March i began sowing and i have been very impressed with the amount of seedlings that have grown. As i write, there are lettuce big enough to pull, also radishes, which taste so much better than any you can buy from the supermarket.
