...I recently wrote an opinion on Airwick crystal air, air fresheners which I have to say I think are very good. However, I have now discovered another air freshener, which is also quite good, and I thought I?d tell you all about it. I was in ?home bargains?, when I spotted a Glade Duet air freshener with a free full sized bottle of pledge orange polish for only £1.35 - for that price I just couldn?t resist! The appearance of the product isn?t as nice as the Airwick Crystal (which is a glass shape filled with coloured gel) this one is made of plastic and has wavy lines cut out of the side for the gel fragrance to escape and a little button on the top to spray with. the cosatto duet lite is not very lite at all!

Advantages: great colour, great look.
Disadvantages: very very heavy when children are in this pushchair.

Squeezebox Duet - great finish, lousy start!

Advantages: All your music accessible from neat, simple controller. Lots of enthusiast support
Disadvantages: None that you wouldn't expect from such a small device.

...to go on my mp3 player. Sound quality is every bit as good as the original CDs. You can tell the difference between a flac rip and an mp3 rip, but you'd expect that anyway. Searching through the library is a good as it could be on a small display. I have about 20,000 tracks in total, and once the controller has sync'd to the database, scrolling is very fast. You need to practice though, as the scroll wheel has acceleration built in, the longer you wind it, the faster the display scrolls. Don't give up though. After a few days of use it becomes second nature. Album art is displayed on the controller screen if it is present on the database. The biggest problem is with dodgy tags on the music files. When you rip a CD, album and track info. for that disc is obtained from an online cddb database. Some people have strange ideas about tagging...

If space is a problem the Duet Lite is for you!

Advantages: Stylish, slimline and easy to manouvere
Disadvantages: Heavy to lift into a boot etc

It ticked EVERY single box of all my requirements! It was an umbrella folding tandem buggy! I ordered it in February (06) ready for my newborn and daughter at the end of March, from an online store and paid £159.99 for it, with no delivery charges. I was weary of doing it without having physically seen the buggy and having read a very limited amount of reviews on it. It arrived within a few days. An old but good phone

Advantages: It does what you'd expect a phone to do

...I don't know alot about phones but I do know that the one I have works perfectly and does what you'd expect a phone to do. I have a BT Duet 200, it's a fairly old model with your basic ringing tone and a volume switch on the bottom. The hand piece is a nice size, about 15cm by 6cm - it's pink and has easy to press buttons which the numbers are very clear to read, you have a redial button to call the last number you dialled, a secrecy button to hide your identity and you have memory buttons to store numbers in. You can buy this model in any BT phone shops and the cost is in the region of 30 - 40 pounds, it depends where you live and what offers are on in a particular store. Advantages: Suitable from birth, slim line

...at 5ft 8 but I'm a wimpy 7 ½ stone so knew that I would have to look for the lightest, most compact tandem I could find, after much searching and "test driving" I found the lightest one, that would also easily fit in the boot of hubbys car, was the Cosatto Duet Lite. At £179 at Toys R Us it was also the most affordable tandem and the one I liked the look of best, in monochrome colours it was perfectly unisex and would suit both my daughter and my new son. The Duet Lite is as slim line as a tandem buggy can get but fortunately isn't too long as a result of this, admittedly steering can be quite a challenge at times especially on tight corners but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy I found it to push. A major factor in getting a slim line tandem for me was to be able to easily get to the school with the least of trouble, this included...

Advantages: Realistic, enjoyable, bittersweet.
Disadvantages: Too short, some undeveloped characters, culture differences.

...Written by Xiaolu Guo. 204 pages in paperback. Written in first person. Young Adult + Can be bought new and used for £3+ on ebay.co.uk and new for £4.99 at amazon.co.uk. After finding a copy of A Concise Chinese-English Dictionary for Lovers in a nearby bookshop and being told it was a good read by others I decided to buy it, and then I discovered I'd left my wallet in my other coat. A few months later after forgetting to come back to that bookshop and buying that book I discovered 20 Fragments of a Ravenous Youth in my local library, naturally I picked it up so I could finally see how good of an author Xiaolu Guo was and see whether or not I should go look for the other books she has written. I can tell you now that I am planning on looking for a copy of her other works, she's brilliant. Fenfang has left the slow and boring...

Samsung NC20 Black

Advantages: Battery life, size and weight

...I have just purchased a Samsung NC20 from Amazon. I originally planned on getting the NC10 after reading lots of fantastic reviews, but I was apprehensive about the size, being approx 10" screen. Anyway I heard about the NC20, and after seeing a HP notebook of the same size, I decided to wait for that instead... Amazon have had the white version in stock for a few weeks, but the Black one only came in this week. Customer service was excellent, I ordered on Wed evening, but due to a problem with my card, the order only went through at 6.30pm on Thursday...it was then delivered at 8.30am on Friday!!! That's what I call express service! The cost was about £375, so it's not the cheapest on the market, but the reviews of the NC10 swayed me in spending a little extra.
