...While awaiting inspiration for a new review, I remembered that this one was overdue for an update. Although I rewrote it a year or so ago for Dooyoo, to include selected items from handbag reviews posted over there, I never got round to revising the Ciao version. So here it is. All the articles mentioned appeared in reviews by women on one site or the other. * What have I in my handbag? I mustn't tell you lies; In truth the only bags I own Are those beneath my eyes. ...for throwing in your make-up bag/purse when you go out but the pot is made from proper glass and the lid is a thick durable plastic which looks professional. Also I have never had a problem with the lid coming off and glitter leaking everywhere! (However I have had this problem with similar products from other brands so watch out!) The dust itself consists of a very fine powder as the name may suggest, which is wonderfully shimmery and catches the light- often many dusts look different colours in different lights. You get a fair amount in each pot for £4.50 and I have found that they definitely outdo other cheaper alternatives and even more expensive brands like Gosh as they have great bright colours which really stand out and stay on the lid. ...I received a DVD in a jiffy bag recently opened the bag carefully and put the bag ready to reuse with about 20 other old jiffy bags I have ready for recycling. Actually I am not sure that all of them are genuine jiffy bags but they are the same sort of thing. Jiffy bags made by Jiffy have been available for several years now I think they go back to the 1950?s. Jiffy bags are handy padded envelope bags that can be bought in a variety of sizes some as small as to 164 x 285mm, then several sizes upwards to 247 x 387mm, probably even larger ones available. The original bag is a golden brown heavy duty paper. The padded filling can be as simple as shredded paper. Fear The Dust.

Advantages: A thought-provoking read.

...INTRODUCTION I first heard of this book by reading a review of it on Ciao by baby1j2005. I am interested in reading about survival and how people cope with extreme situations. I have read many factual accounts from survivors of the Holocaust of WWII and from the inhumane nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Advantages: Atmospheric 'horror' movie dominated by its hypnotic tone and suspense; makes beautiful use of the Namibian desert
Disadvantages: Those looking for gore won't find it here

Vaccum Storage Bags

Advantages: Space Saving Ideas for Home and Abroad
Disadvantages: None I can think of

...I love this idea, whoever thought this up is a genius. A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. Excellent I would rate these to anybody you can even use them for going abroad and storing your much loved items and reducing space which we all know must happen when traveling on a plane think of the goodies you can bring back !! We Are But Shadows and Dust

...and immensely entertaining, with plenty of sections that simply beg to be bellowed or screamed out loud. 'Shadows and Dust' is a relentlessly heavy yet also very catchy and melodic listen that marries over the top silliness and sonic intensity in a way that is hugely endearing. Full of great riffs, its a very uplifting and entertaining album from start to finish. It's by far my favourite Kataklysm album, and the band would seem to acknowledge its appeal as they played it almost in its entirely last time I saw them live. Catchy, fun and crushing. Grobag baby sleeping bags are fantastic!

...The grobag is a fantastic invention which stops the constant getting up and down in the night to put the blankets back over your baby when they manage to kick them off in the night. Grobags are baby sleeping bags which fasten at the shoulders and are worn almost like a dress/dungarees. They come in different thickness- Tog rating- like a quilt. So you are able to decide which tog rating is needed, for example, in the summer when it's warm you will only need a 1tog or if it's colder you may need a 3tog. They come in different patterns and designs so you may chose whether you want a girlie pink one or a boy blue one etc. The main purpose of these grobags is to stop the baby from getting cold during the night as they may do with a blanket.
