...Pancakes should be simple to make since they are only flour, egg and milk right? Well I do like pancakes and not just on Shrove Tuesday but very rarely make them myself. When I fancy a fix I will go to a pancake house or creperie. I have fond memories of the Pancake Place in Scotland and the now sadly gone Dutch Pancake House in Manchester. Now I am in London I do not have to go without my pancake fix as I have discovered My Old Dutch Pancake House. My Old Dutch Pancake House is a mini chain of Pancake Houses with branches in Holborn Central London, Ealing and Chelsea with a new one in Kensington recently opened. I've only visited the Holborn one but if the others are as good I would happily visit them if I was in the area. The 'Masters' of 'Puppets'

Advantages: Flawless Heavy Metal record, technically stunning time signature shifts with occasional classical structuring
Disadvantages: 20 year old production job, could do with a re-mastering

...Time for my ultimate review of what I feel is the finest metal record of all time, 'Master of Puppets' by the masters themselves, 'Metallica'. Myself, a fan of Heavy Metal entirely because of the music from these guys. It was the 'Black' album that started it all for me in the early 90's upon hearing 'Enter Sandman' on the radio; I was pulled out of my stupid Pop childhood, and taken away into a darker musical place I liked very much. I immediately purchased a copy of the 'Black' album and upon hearing this I read more into the band learning of their thrash roots and much more diverse heavier past. So I sought after their older material beginning with 'Master of Puppet's'. Which brings me to today, where I have quite a collection of 'Metallica's' music having trawled CD fairs for the rarities and odds and sods to build that collection...

A Dutch of Class

...comfortable. In flight entertainment was supplied with seat back LCD screens and a limited supply of movies to watch. The level of service was above average with typical Dutch hospitality and friendliness. The main meals were typical airline food though, nothing special but still eadible. One amusing sight was the choice of early morning snack, a choice between a “pot noodle” or a chocolate ice cream ! I could understand one or the other but the choice, ah well. Schipol is one of the nicer airports to transfer though however, it is sometimes subject to delays going in and out. Although supposedly not as bad this year, it did have a terrible reputation for losing or delaying luggage. But this fortunately didnt happen to me. My luggage was booked straight through so no carting it around, yipee ! On the way back as is...

...Last weekend, me and my friends decided to go for a tour of Regent Canal by bicycle, and therefore we looked for a bike hire service in London. Between all the websites we found this one, an appealing website with photographs of fantastic dutch classical bikes for hire in London. The website shows photographs of really nice and stylish bikes which are for rent at a decent price, 25 pounds per day per bike if you hire them for 1-3 days. Even though there were cheaper options we decided to treat ourselves for one day and choose one of these appealing bicycles, just to make it a really unique experience for one day! If only we knew! The delivery process is quite straightforward, you choose a bicycle and they deliver it to you wherever you are in London with a little van. And here we had the first surprise: they delivered to us 3 bikes...

...This review is for the Nintendo DS game, Dino Master - Dig Discover Duel, developed by Creative Office and published by Majesco Entertainment. In this game, you play the part of Dave the Digger, and you have to try to recover fossils in the fossil hunt mode from various locations, whilst battling enemies who try to stop you in your quest. In a Jurassic Park style operation, you can then recreate these dinosaurs in the lab mode, and fight them in the battle mode. In principle, this is a fun puzzle and action game, which has a generally good plot, and also an educational element under-pinning it. However, when you get started in the fossil hunt mode, you soon find that parts of the game are fairly unplayable. ...that little bit longer for flying to Amsterdam first, they chose to show two flims, which were in English with Dutch subtitles, and quite up to date. The seats were as comfortable as you're going to get, with just about enough legroom, and I wasn't in too much pain when the time for touchdown came. Overall, I cannot recommend KLM highly enough. And if, like me, you're a big fan of the wilderness, this flight offers the added bonus of flying up and over Greenland - a priceless experience just by itself....
