...cover I bought until that time came with pillowcases as well and some also come with a sheet. The duvet cover is a nice quality of 100% cotton and is machine washable at 40C. The pattern is a blue background with bunches and individual pink and red blousy roses, giving a cottagey chinty feel to the design. The cover is plainer on the reverse being the same pale blue but this time interdespersed...

...I bought this duvet cover and pillowcase for my granddaughter and it is just beautiful. It is so pretty and extremely good quality too. I bought it from John Lewis and cost £30 which I think is a reasonable price to pay. Yes you can buy duvet sets for much cheaper than this but I don't find they wash very well and they feel quite rough to touch whereas this one has remained in very good condition...
