Mustek DV3000 Compact Digital Camera.

...The video recording on the DV3000 is nat the best in the world. In natrual light (outside) the camera can see everything you can but inside the colours tend to go into a orange/red blur. It has three diffrent video modes, OK quality, GOOD quality and NIGHT mode. OK quality mode is great for recording things like bike riding and things that don't move very fast. But when you record things that tend to go faster than 15mph then the camera can keep up with it and it goes into a blur or somtimes the lense can't see it because it is going to fast. One good thing about this is that you can record for about 15 minutes at one time. GOOD quality mode is the best mode on the camera as it uses 3.1 mega pixels. Cool Camera for Cool People!

Advantages: small, easy to use, good quality, inexpensive
Disadvantages: drains battery life like most cameras, software not brilliant, no flash

...on getting a larger SD memory card as well as I use it so much! Taking low resolution photos and videos is no problem for me as the content is mainly of my friends making idiots of themselves, but if it?s the quality you want, it may be worth a larger 64mb or 128mb Multimedia or SD card. There is no flash, and the quality in dim light is pretty bad, however, other than that, its really cool and my Mustek DV3000 is one of my proudest possessions!...

Advantages: portable, durable, good value
Disadvantages: no flash, relies entirely on removable media

...i was after a "half-decent" camera to take over the cruddy £16.99 camera i had been using for a while, i didn't want to spend the best part of £500 on a 3.1 megapixel camera from another company (S***) so i browsed around a site i normally go to when i am shopping for parts to build people computers. astonishingly, there it was, the Mustek DV3000, i thought the price was amazing - a 3.1megapixel digital video camera that can also take stills and record audio, plugs into the tv as well as USB on your computer, i had to have it, i can't disclose the site due to regs on ciao, but it only cost me just over £90 including delivery from the site.
