Advantages: Awesome performances. Many songs to choose from. Live CD'S and Documentary DVD's.

Ideal for taking in the car or putting onto MP3 player etc. The other DVD that came with my set also has the Anakonda im Netz documentary. Basically it's a talk with the band about their music and performances etc. And if you're interested in where the band came from and what inspires them etc then it's also worth a watch! ...Having reviewed the No 1 in the world cd repair tool and found out it was a flop and waste of money, I have tried a few other techniques. This review is on the Procare CD/DVD repair kit found at Maplin and possibly other stores. ~ The kit ~ You get the cd repair too itself which is motorised, you get the adapter, cd sanding discs, cd buffing discs and cleaning fluid. It comes in a nice flat box that is easy to store after use. ~ How it works ~ This is slightly different to the worlds No1 cd repair tool in that it appears to look like a cd walkman, you put the sanding discs in first and then put the scratched cd in with label facing up.   DVD Player that can play DivX .avi files and more!

Advantages: Plays DivX AVI and MPEG files, Supports lots of formats, Looks good, Karaoke,
Disadvantages: DivX 3.11, 4.02 plays slightly slanted, cheap plasticy remote, Doesn't play some NTSC encoded files

..., it marks it by bevelling the box, which at times makes it harder to tell which file you selected. When you've found a file you want to play, just press 'Play' or 'Enter'. Once it has finished playing a file, it will move to the next one. I've found that the DVD-500 plays DivX files well with no loss of quality. These were DivX files on CD-R and DVD-R. These files are highly compressed Video files in the AVI format (has the extension .avi). I've also managed to play Mpeg (.mpg) video files but found that the player does not support WMV (Windows Media Video) and simply skips the file altogether. The player is also able to play MP3 files. A few niggles with playing files though is the navigation. Although easy, it still does take a second (possibly half a second) to move from track to track so it's definitely not very zippy. DVD's a Plenty!!!

Advantages: cheap, compact, great bargain
Disadvantages: none

...DVD player was silent as can be. It was able to play well, fast forward at a good speed still without making any noise and I can really say nothing bad about it. For a mere £20 I find this DVD player and exceptionally fantastic bargain and one I shall shout from the rooftops! The picture quality is good, sound quality could not be better and the overall use of the machine really is simple yet very effective. I don?t think you could ask for a better price on this product and it really does work extremely well. ...I was given this player to keep me occupied on my many long bus and train journeys. THE PLAYER This is a Japanese mp3 and CD player, which comes in a silver and blue top with a grey base. It is 13cmx13cmx2½cm which is about average size, so its more bag sized than pocket sized. It comes with an adapter and ear bud type headphones. It only has a small display area, so only displays limited information on it, such as which track and album or how long the song has been playing for. There are also little icons to display what modes you have it on, which are discussed later.
