Advantages: Cheap, Free Delivery

...DVD.co.uk is just now a small business, but they should come up soon enough. I have ordered 4 or 5 items from them and all have been delivered within 6 days, which is quite slow compared to 3 days for play.com and 3-4 days for amazon.co.uk, however delivery is Free and alot of items from dvd.co.uk are cheaper than they are on amazon or play. It should be noted that they ship their items from all over Europe and usually come from Switzerland, Belgium or Jersey, which is perhaps why delivery is a little slower. Now as I said some items are cheaper on dvd.co.uk than on play or amazon, for example I payed just £17.99 for the game Just Cause for PS2 from DVD.co.uk and it was listed on amazon for £29.99 and play.com for £27.99, thats a£10-£12 saving!!! ...Blackstar.co.uk are very cheap. If you buy a video or dvd that has yet to be released they will give you an extra twenty percent off their already low prices. They also offer free postage which means that the price that you see on the item description is the only price you will pay, there are no inflated postage and packaging (shipping and handling) rates to be seen. The delivery is also not the cheapest around it is quick to deliver, it only takes a day or two to any wherein the uk and they deliver worldwide for free meaning you can get the latest uk releases on video and dvd cheaply and quickly. ...Amazon.co.uk is a really good site. It offers every book video and dvd under the sun. The prices arnt bad for most things, but the postage and packaging is quite expensive. Its realy simple to order you'll have got the latest book or cd within just a few clicks! They have all the latest products! There range of books is huge and they also have loads of books and dvd's all on the same site! If your looking for a little more range then have a look at amazon.com although things will probably take a bit longer to come from this site if you live in the uk. So if your looking for a obscure product or your a first time internet shopper then amazon.co.uk is for you!... Read review

...First of all I love DVD’s but they are so damn expensive! However I have finally found somewhere where I can get cheap DVD’s! DVD.co.uk is generally 2-3 quid cheaper than the competition and is always 10-15 quid cheaper than the competition on the large box sets! I have bought 2 of these box sets namely Buffy season 3 and 4 These where at the cheapest I could find them, play.com, £69.99 however I stumbled across dvd.co.uk by mistake and they had them for £59.99 now this is a big difference being almost 15% of the price I originally found as the cheapest I ordered both 3 and 4 at 2pm on the Monday and season 3 arrived 9am the next morning!!! Season 4 was due to be released the next again Monday as it was not out in the UK yet. I was stunned such a fast and FREE delivery! However the best part was they emailed me to check... Read review

...A brilliant place to buy DVD’s which are delivered straight to you’re door via recorded delivery within a week. Not bad since they come all the way from Europe and back. The site is excellent and you can pick up some top DVD’s at competitive prices. Forget Amazon.co.uk, play47.com is much better. ...DVD Plus isn't that good while being not all that bad. The website has good interactive menus and a comprehensive search engine that will retrieve anything. The graphics of the website have left a little to be desired, but that's not what really counts. The DVD's are of good quality but their DVD list isn't all that extensive. The DVD's are not just-released super new features DVD's but sort of 1 week old second rate. I have ordered from this store and I must applaud DVD Plus in such a good delivery response time. For instance, I ordered on a Friday and my goods came first thing Monday morning - fist rate! A good thing, that you don't really find in the UK, is reward points.
