...happy to see the little screws on the cable end. On my old cable I had these tiny little screws and had to get a screw driver if I wanted to unplug the cable but with this model I only need to turn the end to release it. So if you have a printer which needs a cable like the APC why not spend the extra few pounds and buy this. It's very good quality and will never let you down. I couldn't have been happier with it. I'm not too big a fan of USB cables for printers... Bring back APC!...

Official Wii Component Video Cable

The GAMEware component cable spices up the Wii's HD graphics.

Advantages: Improves the graphical quality of games, Cheaper than the official cable.
Disadvantages: I suppose some people will unfairly compare the Wii and the 360/PS3 graphics and be disappointed?

Wii component cable- Well worth the money

Advantages: sharper/brighter picture, opens up more ports on TV, saves hassle.
Disadvantages: quite expensive for a simple console improvement

...The Nintendo Wii component video cable really is a sound investment if you are the owner of an HD/ LCD TV, and obviously a nintendo Wii. Before i bought it, i had trouble with the picture quality and contrast on many of the games. Games such as Wii Sports were fine, but more of the action/adventure games such as Zelda or Splinter Cell give a very dark picture which can sometimes be hard to make out what was happening. The only way i could combat this problem was to adjust the contrast on my television which did help, but was alot of hassle. With the component cable, the picture is not only much brighter, but much sharper and defined. An expensive cable but well worth it.

Advantages: Great pictures and you can connect it to a number of devices.
Disadvantages: It is expensive and the cable is quite short.

This cable has plenty of other uses than connecting TVs up to blu ray DVD players you can connect it up to a Sky HD box a HD TV recorder or playstation three or you can also connect a laptop or a new pc with a HDMI port and certain camcorders/cameras. The connector has nineteen pins in it they are quite hard to see because they are so small. If you need to put the cable any distance this won't be much use since its only one and a half meter. Sony does sell longer cables if you need them there are three meter cables available. Another cable I have purchased is HDMI to DVI it does the same thing pretty much but most computers would have DVI rather than HDMI. ...This is just budget cable I use for connecting my mp3 player to my home hi-fi setup, I also use this cable for connecting my laptop to my hi fi. It is basically a mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm - male on the one end - plugs into your headphone socket in your laptop for instance, and on the other end has 2 x RCA - male connectors, which plug into a normal Hi-fi around the back, left and right channel. This is a standard connection on both ends, nothing special, but works well everytime. The cable is 5m long, made from the usual black plastic, with rubberised ends to stop the cable from snapping and degrading on the pressure points, the cable I have takes a lot of abuse on the ends and has been reliable for a long time. A trip to PC world saw me return with one of these puppies (and £60 lighter in the pocket). 30 minutes after getting home saw my Internet access and wireless network reinstated.
