Dymo's Dynamo!
Advantages: Handy to use, great quality labels, never runs out of ink
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, noisy, can't print colour
...- around 5 minutes from beginning to end.
The labelwriter comes with full detailed instructions, Power pack, USB cable for connection to your PC and CD installation software. It also came with 2 rolls of address labels, so we were able to start using it straight away and 1 year free Warranty with Dymo, providing that we registered our product with them.
A desktop icon is created when it is installed and when I want to create or go to saved labels, I click on this. I am then able to either create a new label (size of labels below) or open a saved label. I initially started by creating new labels but now they are all saved, I very rarely have to create new ones.
**Main features of the Dymo Labelwriter 320**
Direct thermal print technology eliminates the need for ribbons, toner and ink cartridges.
Can print labels up to 59 mm wide...

The Dymo 400 saves me so much time, it is a good buy
Advantages: Prints quickly, easy to use, no ink, time saver
Disadvantages: A little expensive to run for some
...The Dymo Labelwriter has been available in various models for a long time now. Many grumble at the limited use, plus the fact that you can use only Dymo labels with the device. Well, whilst this is true, you should really look at this device as a great time saving device, rather than money saving.
I picked up a Labelwriter 400 just recently. I had the next model up before, but sold it on for a very good price. Within a week of selling it, I wished I hadn't. Address and shipping labels vary in price and size, but the smaller address labels work out about 3p each. There is no ink or mess to worry about, as this is a thermal printer, so the printer makes the label react and reveal a fairly crisp 300dpi print. It is nice and fast and quiet in use.
So, imagine the scenario, perhaps like me you sell on ebay. I might only sell one thing a day...

Asus Xonar D1 - move over creative, your time is up.
Advantages: cheap, works in vista, does the job far better than the competition, optical output!
Disadvantages: limited inputs (see review)
...The souncard market has never really been swamped with options. For those of us who don't use onboard sound and demand a seperate sound card for our sorround sound/gaming/music needs theres never been much choice. Most people go with Creative as they are well known and apparently respectable. I did just that a few years ago, it was a mistake. Their driver and customer support, especially for Windows Vista users is seriously lacking. I was finding my games locking up, my computer suffering from fatal errors (aka Blue Screens of Death) and just general sound issues that were hindering my enjoyment. Research soon showed that the creative card was to blame. As a result i threw my old creative soundcard in the bin and opted for something new, the Asus Xonar D1.
Simple, small and effective. Asus's card supports Vista and its drivers are...

My friend called Dymo!
Advantages: Fast, Looks neat and sexy like me!!!!
Disadvantages: only black and white.
...The Dymo Label Writer 330 Turbo.
----------------------
At the beginning:-
----------------------
The reason my company bought this label printer was that my computer is new to the office and I therefore had no 'creature comforts' that the other girls have got on their computers and desks. All the other computers have Seiko label printers, however we have 3 of them already and they are expensive to run and the print quality is only OK. So I managed to con my boss into letting me have one of these sexy red machines on my desk!
I rooted around and we eventually bought it from Euroffice for £89 in the end of season sale as it was an end of line. It retailed at over £200 normally so I was so chuffed id bagged a bargain for my company so early on!
Unfortunately, it was out of stock when we ordered it due to the great demand...

The Dymo Labelwriter 330... for all your office needs!
Advantages: Compact, creates pro-looking labels, easy to set up and use
Disadvantages: Bit pricey, not entirely necessary as there are other ways of creating labels
...into your computer. (Not very good for fans of wireless IT gear... this does get rather fussy with all these wires).
There was some software that had to be installed on the computer, but this took no more than 3 minutes, and was immediately ready for use.
The device itself is quite small and compact, and does look fancy on your desk as opposed to some ugly old-fashioned-looking label makers. It's a sleek silver colour, with a burgundy bottom. Simple and neat.
For printing out normal labels, the machine is perfect. It is very easy to use. You simply highlight the address you wish to print out, then click the tiny label button which gets installed on your Word program or similar in the toolbar, and then you click print when the window pops up. Alternatively, you can go to your start menu, click on the Dymo option and do it from there, by...

The Dymo Omega Embosser is a great easy to use product.
Advantages: It's easy to use, comfortable to hold and a well-designed product.
Disadvantages: Correct pressure has to be applied to trigger for best outcome.
...The Dymo Omega Embosser does exactly what it says in the name. You feed the coloured strip on a reel in the back of the machine, press down the desired letters/spaces etc and hey presto you have a personalised embossed sticker. It very easy to use, and because it?s a manual label maker there are no batteries required, so you don?t have the hassle of replacing them.
The sticker that is embossed is really strong and durable. Once you stick it to something it lasts an extremely long time without fading and stays stuck to it. I haven?t yet found a surface it won?t stick to.
It is great tool for any business to own, no longer will there be any arguments over whose stapler it is. It?s not just for business use though. I?m a graphic design student and I?ve found this product endlessly useful in designs, labelling my books and portfolios...

Dymo Letra Tag - Little Beauty!
Advantages: Quick, Easy, Useful, Compact
Disadvantages: A little expensive
...The Dymo Letra Tag is highly efficient, inexpensive and easy-to use. It\'s just the right tool for labeling and organizing everything in your home or home office: storage boxes, photo albums, toys, CDs, shelves, light switches, circuit breakers, files, folders, garden supplies, food containers, tool box compartments. even your kids\' clothing.
Designed to work comfortably in the palm of your hand, it features a simple ABC keyboard that\'s adult- and child-friendly. It Prints on 1/2\" (12mm) wide paper, plastic and metallic labels in a variety of colors - and on iron-on fabric tape for labeling clothing, towels and more.
The overall cost can be a bit offputting, but at about £90 it really is a sound investment for the office environment, and many home situations.
Since buying it, I have had many many uses where a label has been...

Dymo 320 labelWriter. Well worth buying
Advantages: Easy to operate
Disadvantages: None
...The Dymo 320 LabelWriter is sat to the right of my desk at work and it cost about £90.00. It has already saved this many times over in terms of saved time, money and reduced stress on staff!
For some reason our large digital printer/copier hates printing labels. After the third time of having to have the service engineer come out to remove a rogue label that had become glued to the drum ,our head of IT decided that it would be better to buy a label printer.
We decided to buy a Dymo 320 LabelWriter. It can be networked and so is shared by a number of people in our very busy publishing company, being shared by IT, sales, editorial and accounts.
It is fairly easy to load with paper rolls and automatically lines the role up at the start of using the roll. The labels are easy to pull off and it does a good, professional job...

D1X. Too heavy to handle?
Advantages: This is a brilliant camera that copes well in most situations.
Disadvantages: The D1X is quite heavy and bulky, not recommended for occasional photographers!
...I have been using the D1X for about 2 years in my job as a military photographer. The basic package will come with the D1X body, a 35-70mm lens, and nikon battery and charger.
The quality which this camera records information can be seen in the finished product. I have taken images of landscapes, aircraft, people, technical parts (including close-up's) and many other subjects.
There are 4 modes for use with this camera, shutter priority, manual, apature priority and 'P' or 'automatic'. Along with this are subject settings, i.e: sunny; cloudy; florescent lighting; shadow; ect, all of which are excellent features. The D1X performs well in most circumstances, although it is not brilliant with skin tones. For every 6/10 photographs I take of people, I need to correct the colour slightly. Apart from this dissapointing feature...

Good Quality comes at a Price
Advantages: Excellent print quality
Disadvantages: short and a bit expensive
...The Dymo D1 tapes, which are suitable for a whole host of different Dymo label machines are a great invention.
Most of us will remember the old Dymo machines, which used pure pressure, to stamp out the letters on to a pretty hard plastic sheet, which had a self adhesive backing.
The new Dymo machines, with the D1 tape brings it all to the 21st Century. Using heat technology, to bond the ink to a thin plastic sheet, and produce good quality thin labels to be adhered to whatever you like.
The D1 is available in a whole host of widths; 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 19mm, 24mm, and a whole host of colours, ranging from; black on transparent, black on white, black on yellow, white on transparent etc etc.
I have been using D1 tapes for over a year now, t on the small LablePoint 100 hand held machine, and the larger Label Manager 400 machines...
