Great Little Label Writer
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 400 Turbo by Blondie1005

Advantages: High
Disadvantages: No Colour Option

...The Dymo Labelwriter 400 turbo is a superb little printer which comes with its own software that is really easy to use. It offers functions including barcode printing, plus add-ins for instant printing from Microsoft Word, Outlook, QuickBooks, ACT!, Goldmine, Palm Desktop version 4 or later, WordPerfect® and more. This little printer offers speeds of 55 labels a minute, an average of just over a second per label. However this never seems to happen and I have never witnessed these sorts of speeds. I use the Labelwriter connected to my pc via a usb cable with no problems. I also have enabled sharing for it so other people can use it to. However these is a draw back with this that it can be quite slow printing when someone else prints. (Note this could be because of Pc but I am unable to prove/disprove this). In conclusion this is a great... Read review

Time Saving Devices No1
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by paranoidcookie

Advantages: Top time saver for ebayaholics
Disadvantages: The labels can be a bit pricy

...If you are like me and like to send quiet a lot of items in the post it can be pretty tedious filling out envelopes and while most printers can print onto standard sized envelopes they cant usually deal with things like jiffies bags. The dymo is a simple little printer aimed solely at printing little adhesive labels which you stick onto parcels, jiffy bags and packages. You can also make little labels to stick onto things, I labelled up some of my storage boxes with contents. The package came with a usb cable, software cd, initial roll of labels and thermal paper. The drivers were easy to install and integrated with Word, and my address book. The software works for both PC (Windows XP) and Apple Macintosh though you would have to go onto dymo's website to get it to work with the very latest Macs. I bought the dymo from Misco (www... Dymo's Dynamo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by jayandfoo

Advantages: Handy to use, great quality labels, never runs out of ink
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, noisy, can't print colour

.... It was here that I found there were actually 3 different models: •Labelwriter 310 - The most affordable label printer. Prints sharp text & images on labels up to 40 mm. Perfect for dozens of applications such as envelopes, file folders, bar codes and much more. Includes software, or print directly from your favourite programs such as Word & Excel. My friend called Dymo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo by nuttynaomi

Advantages: Fast, Looks neat and sexy like me!!!!
Disadvantages: only black and white.

...The Dymo Label Writer 330 Turbo. ---------------------- At the beginning:- ---------------------- The reason my company bought this label printer was that my computer is new to the office and I therefore had no 'creature comforts' that the other girls have got on their computers and desks. All the other computers have Seiko label printers, however we have 3 of them already and they are expensive to run and the print quality is only OK. So I managed to con my boss into letting me have one of these sexy red machines on my desk! I rooted around and we eventually bought it from Euroffice for £89 in the end of season sale as it was an end of line. It retailed at over £200 normally so I was so chuffed id bagged a bargain for my company so early on! Unfortunately, it was out of stock when we ordered it due to the great demand... Read review

Dymo 320 labelWriter. Well worth buying
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by Martinscholes

Advantages: Easy to operate
Disadvantages: None

...The Dymo 320 LabelWriter is sat to the right of my desk at work and it cost about £90.00. It has already saved this many times over in terms of saved time, money and reduced stress on staff! For some reason our large digital printer/copier hates printing labels. After the third time of having to have the service engineer come out to remove a rogue label that had become glued to the drum ,our head of IT decided that it would be better to buy a label printer. We decided to buy a Dymo 320 LabelWriter. It can be networked and so is shared by a number of people in our very busy publishing company, being shared by IT, sales, editorial and accounts. It is fairly easy to load with paper rolls and automatically lines the role up at the start of using the roll. The labels are easy to pull off and it does a good, professional job of printing... Oh Brother, where art thou labels!
Review of Brother P-Touch 2100VP by andycharger

Advantages: Lots of extra functions, nice carry case
Disadvantages: mains operated, expensive

...With the demise of the office dymo, it was time to purchase a new labelling machine here at work. We knew what we wanted. We knew the advantages and pitfalls of the Dymo and opted for the Brother P-Touch 2100VP. Firstly, the Brother label printer comes in a handy carry case. Great for carting it around the office. Inside the rigid grey plastic case is the printer itself, its power supply and spare labelling reams. Possibly its only shortcoming is the Dymo was quicker and easier to use as it was battery powered and therefore did not require plugging in for a quick one off label. One massive advantage with the Brother device is that the keys (although small) are arranged in a true QWERTY layout. The Dymo took as long a time to find the letters as it did to finally generate, initiate and finally print the label! The build in LCD screen... Read review

Good Quality comes at a Price
Review of DYMO D1 - polyester self-adhesive label tape - 1 roll(s) by ChrisAllsopp

Advantages: Excellent print quality
Disadvantages: short and a bit expensive

...The Dymo D1 tapes, which are suitable for a whole host of different Dymo label machines are a great invention. Most of us will remember the old Dymo machines, which used pure pressure, to stamp out the letters on to a pretty hard plastic sheet, which had a self adhesive backing. The new Dymo machines, with the D1 tape brings it all to the 21st Century. Using heat technology, to bond the ink to a thin plastic sheet, and produce good quality thin labels to be adhered to whatever you like. The D1 is available in a whole host of widths; 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 19mm, 24mm, and a whole host of colours, ranging from; black on transparent, black on white, black on yellow, white on transparent etc etc. I have been using D1 tapes for over a year now, t on the small LablePoint 100 hand held machine, and the larger Label Manager 400 machines... The simplest, easiest printer money can buy
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by Dave1508

Advantages: Simple set up, ease of use, friendly software interface
Disadvantages: Not a colour printer(If that is a disadvantage!!)

...Ever found printing off labels with the inkjet, a complete pain to setup? This is the simplest machine I've ever used. Just throw in the setup disc folow the on screen instructions and you're there. Once set up the Dymo label software, which comes with the printer, coudn't make life any easier. With its own address book, label designer, just pick the label number from the drop down list add the details, and print! Other sources can also be printed, such as Excel, access and wordperfect. The Help guide is actually informative, and produces a good step by step guide. Printing is almost instantaneous, unlike the standard Inkjet printer, as the data transferred is miniscule. It comes complete with USB cable and power supply, all instructions and software. Also included is a handy Labels Swatch book, for a quick reference to all the Dymo label... Read review

Review of DYMO LetraTag XR by gt5952

Advantages: Quick, Easy, Useful, Compact
Disadvantages: A little expensive

...The Dymo Letra Tag is highly efficient, inexpensive and easy-to use. It\'s just the right tool for labeling and organizing everything in your home or home office: storage boxes, photo albums, toys, CDs, shelves, light switches, circuit breakers, files, folders, garden supplies, food containers, tool box compartments. even your kids\' clothing. Designed to work comfortably in the palm of your hand, it features a simple ABC keyboard that\'s adult- and child-friendly. It Prints on 1/2\" (12mm) wide paper, plastic and metallic labels in a variety of colors - and on iron-on fabric tape for labeling clothing, towels and more. No reason to mess up the filing!!
Review of DYMO LabelPOINT 150 by petal99

Advantages: So easy to use
Disadvantages: A bit heavy

...I got this gadget through the stationary suppliers we use here at work and cannot tell you how useful this is, all assistants have it and it really does make your life so easy!! Dymo is a company that produces label makers of all sorts of sizes and for all different usages going from office to warehouse therefore from simple ones to more durable results for example. In my case I got this model which is not one of the most complicated ones but definitely does the job and does it well and quick! THE LABELWRITER ********** The size of this item is roughly 16 cm x 9 cm x 4.5 cm. It has a bit of a "mushroom" shape which means that you can easily grip it, the display is on the larger area therefore you have a better view of what you are writing. It is a bit heavy I have to confess, suppose the batteries inside do not help it (may... Read review
