HOOVERING TRANSFORMED!!
Review of Dyson DC03 by
SecretFormula
Advantages: LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO HANDLE
Disadvantages: NONE
...I NO LONGER DREAD THE AWFUL THOUGHT OF HAVING TO DO THE HOOVERING SINCE OWNING MY DYSON DC03. THIS MODEL OF THE DYSON RANGE INCLUDES THE DRY CLEANING SYSTEM. VERY SIMPLE TO USE JUST COVER THE CARPET WITH THE DRY CLEANING POWDER USE THE TOOL SUPPLIED TO WORK INTO THE CARPET THEN LEAVE AND HOOVER! HEY PRESTO A NEW LOOKING CARPET!! WITHOUT HAVING TO WET THE CARPET LIKE OTHER CLEANING HOOVERS.
THE DCO3 ALSO COMES WITH ALL THE USUAL DYSON FEATURES BUT FOR ME THE MAIN PLUS IS NOT HAVING THE BAG SYSTEM AND THUS HELPING WITH ALLERGIES AND ASTHMA NO MORE DO I SNEEZE AND WHEEZE AFTER HOOVERING LIKE BEFORE....

A RUSH OF AIR
Review of Dyson DC01 by
Versatile
Advantages: All in opinion
Disadvantages: All in opinion
...……
Hepa Filter
***********
The hepa filter is the biggest filter of the Dyson DC01 and has to be changed every twelve months – It is specially designed to filter out dust particles and bacteria from the air. The filter kills all harmful bacteria by filtering and retaining it – ideal for all those asthma and allergy sufferers.
Motor Protection Filter
***********************
The smaller filter out of the two – This filter has to be changed every three months.
NOTE: - It is IMPERATIVE that you change filters when specified or your Dyson will not perform at its optimum or it may not even work. The suction will be reduced which will make your work around the house much harder.
Dual Cyclone System
*********************
This was the main selling point for me – the idea of never having to change a dusty bag again was too tempting to pass...

Lean Mean Dyson Machine
Review of Dyson DC 04 by
Ulysses
Advantages: Overall quality, Suction power, ease of use, company service standard, bagless, large model range.
Disadvantages: Tools a bit fiddely, On the heavy side, unable to use on hard floors, price.
...This vacuum cleaner has been marvellous and worth the high price tag. It is fun to use and you will be amazed by the stuff it picks up. The suction by this machine is incredible. I currently own the DC04 Absolute which was purchased around 8 months ago for £240.00. I have had no problems with it so far.
Features on the Absolute include:
> Lifetime Hepa filter
> Extendable hose for stair cleaning
> 3 tools / attachments
> Side cleaning bristles
> DC04 was the first vacuum to gain a seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation
A friend told me of this Dyson test which all new Dyson owners should take just for fun. When you get your Dyson home, use your old vacuum cleaner around the house. When finished immediately vacuum with your new Dyson. You will be impressed or disgusted to find how much more the Dyson picks up! I...

The Amazing Sucking Machine
Review of Dyson DC07 by
hsproston
Advantages: Super-Sucker
Disadvantages: Quite heavy
...I can't say enough good things about my Dyson vacuum cleaner and Dyson the company. But first the vacuum.
We bought a Dyson after much discussion, investigation and thought. As we are all aware, Dyson's can be pretty pricey (although as a side note to all, you will almost definitely be able to get it cheaper on the internet. We bought ours from Comet's website, and paid £90 less than they were charging in the shop. We had to wait a week for delivery, but at least somebody else carried it up the stairs!), but I think they are totally worth it. I suffer from mild allergies to such things as dust-mites, some feather pillows and duvets, pollen - that kind of thing. Since we bought the Dyson, I haven't been bothered by any of these!
Also, the flat that we are in is nearly three years old now (as are the carpets), and yet the suction...

Dyson DC14 Allergy
Review of Dyson DC 14 ALL Floors Silver&white&yello by
Scrumpybunny
Advantages: Powerful, doesn't lose suction and a wide range of optional extras
Disadvantages: I can't get on with the angled crevice tool
...I started out with the original Dyson DC01 but I was always convinced mine wasn't as powerful as my mums and didn't remove dog hair very well. After buying a new carpet I bought the DC14 Allergy at a special offer price a couple of weeks ago and I wouldn't be without it now. It almost takes the carpet up with it!! And it loves dog hair. It really does make vaccuuming easy. When using the pipe, it almost takes off but I guess you need to actually be holding it to believe it. The only thing I can't get on with is the angled crevice tool. I much preferred the straight one on my original Dyson. You can also buy a mini turbine head to attatch to the pipe (which I will invest in) which makes cleaning stairs even easier. The pipe is long enough to reach to the top of the stairs in one go. All in all, a fantastic cleaner....

Dynamic Dyson
Review of Dyson DC 04 by
milliemouse
Advantages: makes carpets look like new
Disadvantages: none Ive found
...in cool water until water runs clear (cleaning of the filter is recommended every six months.
Never put the filter in the washing machine or tumble dryer just allow to dry naturally, once dry replace back into the Dyson and its again ready to use.
***** Emptying *****
To empty your Dyson all you need to do is unclip the clear bin (the clip being just below the handle).
Recommendations before you empty your Dyson especially for asthma/allergy sufferers instead of emptying you Dyson straight into the bin, empty it into a bag and allow the dust to settle that way no dust escapes to cause the sufferer unnecessary suffering.
It is optional but you can wash your clear bin part of the Dyson with water ……but no detergents, ensure completely dry before replacing it to main body.
***** If things go wrong *****
The Dyson is covered with a two year...

got a pet get a dyson
Review of Dyson DC01 by
leeha37
Advantages: in opinion
Disadvantages: in opinion
...the extra service ran out I was asked if I would like to renew the insurance which I certainly did as it would have cost me a lot more to get it fixed over the period I have had it when it went wrong.
The suction on the dyson is the best I have ever seen it is easy to use there is no messy bags to deal with and they now do washable filters, which makes it cheaper to.
It is so economical and it’s a pleasure to use. The only pitfall is the customer care line it can take a while to get through and then you get put on hold which is frustrating but when you do get hold of them the are polite and get things done promptly.
As you know with bag vacuums the bag gets clogged but with the Dyson this is eliminated, as there is no bag to clog. Also it is good if you have a dust allergy as the dyson helps to stop the finer particles escaping and any that do...

GREAT SUCTION!
Review of Dyson DC05 by
kellyv43
Advantages: Great suction, no bags
Disadvantages: none
...on board tools
5 filter stages
bagless – so no loss of suction
clear bin, so you can see how full it is
telescopic tubes
lifetime hepa anti allergy filters (washable)
sits on stairs
british Allergy Foundation seal of approval
Turbobrush – to improve pick up of pet hairs and other fibres
Adjusts to carpet thickness
and you only nees to attach the pipes as it is all ready made up.
It is really easy to move around the house with it and it even rests easily on the stairs. The main pipe on the dyson is extendable which makes it easy for tall and small people alike to use this vacuum. Unlike other vacuum cleaners that you can buy all the extra little brushes and tools are attached to the vacuum cleaner pipe so you won’t lose anything. These extra attachments that you get with the dyson make it easy to vac in corners, around...

SUCK ON THIS
Review of Dyson DC 08 Origin by
thingywhatsit
Advantages: Design lives up to its promise.
Disadvantages: Price.
...machine. This cost is now unecessary.
APPROVAL BY THE BRITISH ALLERGY FOUNDATION
Now this claim was interesting to me because in our homes, we harbour all kinds of dust mites, and unpleasant hidden allergens. The Dyson claims to remove even the smallest particles and this is why it has the backing of the British Allergy Foundation. Putting this to the test, I hoovered the bed and carpets that normally house mites that are unseen to the human eye, and my allergies are more in control than they have ever been since using the Dyson. Again, a claim that has been proven.
MANOEUVREBILITY
Dyson claim that the hoover moves easily because its centre of gravity is in the rear of the machine. Here, I cannot question their claim. The Dyson is like a pull along toy. It is so easy to manoeuvre and much less wearing on the back, as well as being able...
