...Dyson has changed the way vacuum cleaners work. And now it is no surprise to see that others are coping the design. This vacuum cleaner is the best of great range of Dyson cleaners. I recently bought this product, as I was impressed by the reviews I heard. The suction on this cleaner is absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe that vacuum cleaners could be so good. This Vacuum cleaner really cleans deep down into the pile. The only thing I don’t like about this cleaner is that you can see all the dirt collected showing in the transparent casing. If you buy this cleaner, I would vacuum the carpet with your old cleaner and then vacuum the carpet with the Dyson you will be amazed. ...I bought a Dyson after personal recommendation. This is the only vacuum cleaner that I have ever heard recommended by anyone. My partners Mum and Dad got one, then several of his other relatives got them. Our vacuum cleaner was totally useless, so I got a Dyson from Choice catalogue when they had 20% off for your first order. Wow!! I have never seen anything like the hideous grey balls of fluff that came out of our carpets, and they didn't look that dirty. After I nad raved on about the Dyson, my Mum and dad got one, and then I got a call from my friend Gill, who told me about how the Dyson had colonised her family. All 6 of them have Dysons. ...I have been a Dyson owner now for four years and have never had a moments regret about buying it. I have two very hairy dogs and two very messy children and the Dyson has no problem cleaning up after any of them! It has a useful and easy to store set of tools to get into all the nook and crannys, I even hoover my velvet curtains and dralon headboard with the Dyson! It has a long hose that will easily reach upstairs and the clear cylinder leaves me in no doubt as to when I should empty it. It has a well located carrying handle when I need to hoover upstairs or in the car and is light enough to easily lift. I would have no other cleaner than a Dyson.... Read review

...I was delighted to receive a Dyson vacuum o1 model cleaner as a gift from my parents, they hoped it might bring out the domestic goddess in me! The Dyson range is certainly hyped on the grounds of " No yukky bag to change" and therefore virtually no maintenance required and no bags to purchase compared to traditional vacuum cleaners. Sorry Dyson but this is simply not the case! Not only do Dyson cleaners need regular maintenance they actually cost a considerable amount to keep at peak performance. First of all there is of course no bag to change, great you may think?Well don't get to excited ,you still have to empty the cylinder every two to three weeks or so for moderate use. This is a horrible job that has to be done outside,tipping the most foul dust and debris into a bin bag with your eyes and mouth firmly shut to avoid any... Read review

...The DC01 is the original Dyson vacuum cleaner. You needed no bags and it had a reveloutionary spin cycle system allowing giving it more power. I bought mine after seeing the advert. I paid £200 for it - a lot more than my old hoover was worth. At first I was very pleased with it, however I realised you still needed to change filters regularly, which I saw as a drawback. I used my Dyson for hoovering the house as I had done with all vacuum cleaners but we were having building work done at the time and the DC01 could not cope with the brick dust, which led to some problems with it. I do not consider the Dyson DC01 to be that much greater than my old hoover because due to not having bags; the brick dust clogged up the Dyson and it needed to be thoroughly cleaned out for it to work - a horrible job. ...This bagless mean machine leaves no stone unturned, its suction power makes sure of that, any dust and dirt on the carpet, curtains, sofa etc.. will be collected with force into the Dyson vacuum. If you think your carpet is clean then think again. I thought my carpet was spotless until I bought the bagless Dyson DC01. The truth is there is no comparison; it was time for my outdated vacuum cleaner to make room for my new Dyson model. ...I have just purchased the Dyson DC04 over the internet from vacuumcleanersdirect for £187. What a fantastic cleaner, I have just cleaned the whole house with it and I have never seen my carpet looking so clean, it picks up everything. I particularly like the stair cleaning hose that extends from the bottom to the top of the stairs, what an excellent idea. I also like the way that all the components attach to the dyson. It is also a very easy cleaner to use and it simply glides over the carpet with ease and automatically adjusts itself depending on the thickness of carpet. This is a brilliantly designed cleaner and every home should have one.... Read review

...Dyson verses AEG Vampyr vacuum cleaner..... about two years ago after reseach my wife and I bought an AEG Vampyr vacuum cleaner, it was not cheap at all and the turbo extension cost another £60 or so pounds.The reason we bought this cleaner was my youngest daughter suffers from eczema and also is succeptable to dust which affects her asthma.At first it seemed to be good at cleaning, it reached under the bed and was versatile due to its shape not quite cylindrical with two small wheels. It was a bag system of dirt/dust collection.It was not long before we started getting problems with the turbo extension getting blocked, then the suction began to waver. The bag changes were messy. The dirt being picked up was negligible to say the least. It was not long before the wheels broke, then the tube that fitted into the body of the vacuum cleaner... Read review
