I am one of those sad people who actually enjoy hoovering and find it extremely satisfying (providing you have a vacuum cleaner that makes a difference!) I usually hoover for a long time (often well over an hour) and leave the Dyson running for all that time; whereas many hoovers would not stand the test of time and burn out their motors, my DC07 never even blinks. DYSON HOOVER DC07 -Great for pets and asthma

Advantages: Suction,tools,great for homes with pets,customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly on the heavy side.

Dyson DC07

Advantages: Very good suction, lightweight, good attatchments.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive.

...I have two young children and this dyson is fantastic on cleaning up the mess that they create. Its very easy to use and to move accross the floor and light to carry up and down the stairs. The attachments cover every eventuality and are very good at getting into every nook and crany. It is very easy to empty and it doesnt take to much room when you need to stoe it. The suction is very strong sometimes making it hard to move but as long as you keep it moving you wont suck the caret up. The hose is a very good length so when you need to clean the stairs you can leave the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs and carry on cleaning till the top without having to balance the vacuum half way up the stairs. I would highly recommend this vacuum for a very busy hosehold....

DYSON DC 07 (PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED AND TRUE)

Advantages: powerful, brilliant cleaner, easy to remove container and dirt within
Disadvantages: almost too powerful, heavy, takes effort to switch to pipe

...since i bought this, the machine automatic brush has sucked up ripped up my bed sheets as well as my floor rug corners, but other than the extreme brush power which you cant turn off when using the pipe and the long time and effort it takes to switch to the pipe, this hoover is a masterpiece in design, manouver, and suction power, also the extending pipe is unique. The way you get rid of the hoovered rubbish is quality, you press a button to release the dirt compartment, then you press another button on the compartment to release all the dirt through a flap underneath. Mine makes a very high pitch whirring noise which may annoy others. The pipe can extend up to the top of a staircase which benefits everyone who takes part in the every day stress of vacuuming, the pipe has a spiral elastic property which enables it to extend...

Dyson DC07 Toolkit - It kicks ass!

Advantages: Impressive suction and useful extra tools
Disadvantages: none found yet! (after 6 months)

...After owning a DC01 for many years (at least 12!) I wanted to stick with the same make of vacuum cleaner. I chose the DC07 Toolkit simply for the extra tools which include a flexable crevice tool, a stiff stubborn dirt brush, and the soft dusting brush. It has the standard crevice tool, large bristle brush and stair tool. This machine really kicks ass, what more can I say!! I vacuum daily and am still amazed at how much dust/dirt/bits fill my cylinder. The most useful tool is the soft dusting brush which is great for running over your furniture and shelves between using the polish and duster. I also use it over my tv, consoles and keyboards, but be careful doing this as the suction is impressive. This machine only has one filter compared to my previous Dyson which had two and it is washable. It comes with a five year guarantee...

Dyson DC07 All Floors, Steel/turquoise

Advantages: excellent suction, really cleans.
Disadvantages: cable gets in the way.

...This is a wonderful hoover. Believe me until i tried a dyson i didn't believe the hype about how good these are but i was astonished at how much bettter this was compared to my old hoover. I bought the all floors for £229.00 from my catalogue but the price has come down lower since then. They are available all over the place too, i even saw one for sale in my local Somerfield recently. I chose the all floors as we have a combination of laminate flooring and carpets and it has prooved to be a hit. It automatically adjusts ther brushbar when ghoing from carpets to hard flooring and vice versa. This means you get the best cleaning possible but it protects your carpets and rugs from damage from overzealous suction. Like all Dyson's it comes with tools for every conceivable nook and cranny and they all store securely on the hoover...

I LOVE DAVE THE DYSON!

Usually I do not take out additional care with my electrical products but I was so impressed with Dyson that I have extended my warranty for another five years, until I am ready to replace my DC07 with a newer model.
