Dyson DC24 Vacuum

...I love this vacuum!!! Its so light, compact and really easy to use even my husband can use it!! I have already got a dyson vac but needed to replace it due to it being old and bits starting to drop off (sounds a bit like its owner really!) I saw this on a preview and really liked it. It is only 3/4 size of a ordinary vac as the handle collapses inside itself. It is very easy to use as you just twist the handle to steer the vaccum on its ball rather than vaccing backwards and forwards. The beater bar can be switched off with a button on the front of the vacuum when using the attached tools. Even if this vac is 3/4 size, it does just as good a job as a full size one. Dyson DC25 Animal - Having A Ball!

Advantages: Large collecting bin and great suction!
Disadvantages: Not so Lightweight, and Power Cord could be longer.

Dyson Ball DC25

Advantages: Very light and very manoeverable.
Disadvantages: Bit too light and moves around a lot.

Not only is very good at picking up small pieces of dust and dirt,but the filters are washable which makes it cheaper than some other types of cleaners. I love the way it manoevers around furniture and as it has a small and low head it can get under the edges of furniture as well as under my radiators. Something my old Dyson couldn't do. It's very light weight, weighing only 7.5kg so it makes hoovering upstairs that much easier. The only draw back of this weight is that when you are using the extension hose to clean furniture, curtains or to get behind things, i found that if stretched to it;s limit the machine would move around and has caught me in the ankles several times. Dyson DC14 a powerful sucker!

Advantages: Bagless, powerful, 5 year warranty, great suction.
Disadvantages: No cord auto cord rewind.

Dyson not hoover

Advantages: Power, vaersatility, suction
Disadvantages: weight (minor disadvantage)

...Having own the original style Dyson some years ago, I had an idea what to expect with the acquisition of the DC 14 when my old hoover's wheels literally came off (wasn't a Dyson by the way). The new Dyson clicked together in a few minutes, I even followed the instructions, and within a minute of registering the Dyson on line for the 5 year guarantee I was hoovering away. The DC 14 boasts some excellent features not least the 1400 w of suction which is pretty awesome expecially when you consider none of that suction is lost as the waste receptical fills. Each DC-14 is colour coded to the special facilities it offers. I have the steel gray and purple version, which has the Hepa filter, extra pet hair mini turbine head, adjustable brush for carpets and tiles plus the standard tools. The standard model is yellow and gray, and does not have the adjustable brush. It is suitable only for carpets, not for tiles. ...I LOVE my Dyson DC19! I paid £119.99 from LX Direct and I have also seen this great price in my local Sainsburys so it pays to shop around. This is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned and I have owned MANY ( cats, dog, kids, big house, cars etc), any cleaner in this house is bound to take a bashing and I usually find that the brushes fall apart, or the hoses split and it ends up looking like a comedy of errors held together with duct tape, but not this one!! So, what do I like most? Not having to continually buy dust bags has to be a major factor, and saves a lot of money. Being able to see how full it is - I love this part when my son announces theres nothing wrong with his bedroom and and I go in there with the Dyson and come out with a full tank! Being able to strip it down and wash all the bits is great...

Whenever I thought of Dyson vacuum cleaners 10years ago, I used to think, fancy colours, pricey and a good reputation. Nothings changed then and hence 10 years on I will review the DC22 Allergy. The first thing you notice about this little machine is how little it actually is. You wonder how the technology actually fits in the machine. TOOLS It comes with 2 extra tools - one for cleaning sofas and larger raised areas, and the other a longer tool with a brush attachment for curtains, siderailings and other hard to reach places. Dyson DC25 - If you've got pets it's brilliant

Advantages: Manouvreable, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...I have a number of pets (almost too many to count) that leave hair all over the house and after my vacuum cleaner gave up the ghost i started looking for a new one. I was originally drawn to the DC25 because of the fact it will pick up animal hair. After using it for the first couple of times i noticed that it had far better sucking power (alright that probably isn't the technical term) than any other vacuum cleaner i have ever owned. My carpet has never been so clean! It comes with all the attachments on board and they all have places to clip onto the vacuum which is a great thing for me as i usually put things down somewhere and completely forget where i put them. The amazing thing about it is that instead of having the typical standard four wheels it has a rolling ball mechanism which makes it so much more manouvreable...
