Dyson DC07

Advantages: Very good suction, lightweight, good attatchments.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive.

...I have two young children and this dyson is fantastic on cleaning up the mess that they create. Its very easy to use and to move accross the floor and light to carry up and down the stairs. The attachments cover every eventuality and are very good at getting into every nook and crany. It is very easy to empty and it doesnt take to much room when you need to stoe it. The suction is very strong sometimes making it hard to move but as long as you keep it moving you wont suck the caret up. The hose is a very good length so when you need to clean the stairs you can leave the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs and carry on cleaning till the top without having to balance the vacuum half way up the stairs. I would highly recommend this vacuum for a very busy hosehold....

...my shoulder so dont find it a problem. it doesnt take me long to vacuum so no problem anyhow. it is not a quiet hoover by any means but i guess thats the price you pay for the performance. i do find it heavier than the other uprights i have used but then they dont do the job so i am sticking with this baby for the time being. the permanent filters are supposedly very good, which along with the bagless nature of it is one of the selling points to me..i think dyson have proved themselves for good design with this machine in those areas, as well as performance. given that there is a 5yr guarantee i think we can all rely on a long life with this vacuum. i recommend it to all and hope you find it as good as i have. buying online it was great value for money and has proved itself worth every penny so far. this girl aint for parting with it...

PROBABLY THE MOST POWERFUL UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER

Advantages: effective cleaning of carpets and upholstery etc.
Disadvantages: At 8.6kg slightly on the heavy side if you need to carry it about.
