You NEED to buy a Dyson!

Advantages: All you could want from a vacuum cleaner

...I LOVE my Dyson DC19! I paid £119.99 from LX Direct and I have also seen this great price in my local Sainsburys so it pays to shop around. This is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned and I have owned MANY ( cats, dog, kids, big house, cars etc), any cleaner in this house is bound to take a bashing and I usually find that the brushes fall apart, or the hoses split and it ends up looking like a comedy of errors held together with duct tape, but not this one!! So, what do I like most? Not having to continually buy dust bags has to be a major factor, and saves a lot of money. Being able to see how full it is - I love this part when my son announces theres nothing wrong with his bedroom and and I go in there with the Dyson and come out with a full tank! Being able to strip it down and wash all the bits is great...

A GREAT LITTLE SUCKER

I then looked up different makes and models of cylinder cleaners. First I visited VAX, they had many different models and they all looked great. Then I visited Dyson, I had a Dyson before and I knew that they were good so I looked at their cylinder models. I finally made my mind up after reading a few reviews, looking at power, suction etc. I was going for a Dyson. Then I had to decide which Dyson I wanted. The 'DC 20,21,22 and 23' versions seemed like a lot of hassle, it looked neat and like it was quite compact and easy to store, but, I'd have to unwind the hose and pull out the tubes every time I wanted to use it. Some things to consider before buying.

Advantages: Suction power, great tools, bagless, 5 year guarantee.

...I have been using Dyson's 1400 watt DC19 vacuum cleaner for about a year now. It is without doubt a superb product, but there are still a few things that could be improved with the design. I tried out several other brands of compact vacuum cleaner before buying this model and always ended up taking them back. None of them had the DC19's suction power. The DC19 is light (17.75lbs) and easily manoeuvrable. It's four tools include a flat head attachment, which is great for reaching under cupboards and beds. Like other Dyson cleaners, it is bagless and easy to empty. Tapping the clear cannister seems to remove most of the dirt that has been collected. ...I have had my Vax cleaner for about 25 years and although it still does the job and has not broken down yet it is,sadly,the worse for wear. ...After using a very cheap cylinder hoover for many years and getting more and more frustrated with messy bag changes and the carpets still not looking clean, a friend recommended that I purchase a Dyson. Taking their advice I did some investigating and was pleased to find the DC19 on offer at Argos for £139.99. On getting the hoover home I was chuffed, it took approx 20 mins to get the whole thing set up and ready to go and the suction was immediately incredible. ...This is my second Dyson vacuum, which says a lot in itself! I have owned an alternative "bagless cyclone" vacuum, but found that none compare to the suction power of a Dyson. Just like they say on their advert, if you want something like a Dyson, get a Dyson. It certainly costs more than most vacuums, but the 5-year warranty included probably makes it worthwhile (in addition to the tremendous suction power). The good quality design continues to the included tools too. The floor head is ultra-flat, so will slide under almost any furniture that has a 2-inch ground clearance. ...My husband bought this recently as my old dyson was on it's way out, I didn't have a animal one before and I have a dog so I knew I wanted a animal vaccum cleaner, I loved my old dyson and you can't beat them!! I waned a change so I got the upright, I had a cylider one before and a knew I wanted a ball too. So that was it the DC25 animal was it!! I am so pleased with it but I think the cylider one was better, the cord was longer and easier to get around!! It had a better design as well, this is harder to push and the cord is far to short So if your thinking of getting the DC25 animal I would consider the cylider one, I think there a lot better. Still brillant to pick up pet hait though and it glides around unlike the other types!!...
