Dyson not hoover

...Having own the original style Dyson some years ago, I had an idea what to expect with the acquisition of the DC 14 when my old hoover's wheels literally came off (wasn't a Dyson by the way). The new Dyson clicked together in a few minutes, I even followed the instructions, and within a minute of registering the Dyson on line for the 5 year guarantee I was hoovering away. The DC 14 boasts some excellent features not least the 1400 w of suction which is pretty awesome expecially when you consider none of that suction is lost as the waste receptical fills. Dyson DC24 Vacuum

Advantages: lightweight, small, ease of use
Disadvantages: small dustbag

...I love this vacuum!!! Its so light, compact and really easy to use even my husband can use it!! I have already got a dyson vac but needed to replace it due to it being old and bits starting to drop off (sounds a bit like its owner really!) I saw this on a preview and really liked it. It is only 3/4 size of a ordinary vac as the handle collapses inside itself. It is very easy to use as you just twist the handle to steer the vaccum on its ball rather than vaccing backwards and forwards. The beater bar can be switched off with a button on the front of the vacuum when using the attached tools. Even if this vac is 3/4 size, it does just as good a job as a full size one. ...I LOVE my Dyson DC19! I paid £119.99 from LX Direct and I have also seen this great price in my local Sainsburys so it pays to shop around. This is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned and I have owned MANY ( cats, dog, kids, big house, cars etc), any cleaner in this house is bound to take a bashing and I usually find that the brushes fall apart, or the hoses split and it ends up looking like a comedy of errors held together with duct tape, but not this one!! So, what do I like most? Not having to continually buy dust bags has to be a major factor, and saves a lot of money. Being able to see how full it is - I love this part when my son announces theres nothing wrong with his bedroom and and I go in there with the Dyson and come out with a full tank! Each DC-14 is colour coded to the special facilities it offers. I have the steel gray and purple version, which has the Hepa filter, extra pet hair mini turbine head, adjustable brush for carpets and tiles plus the standard tools. The standard model is yellow and gray, and does not have the adjustable brush. It is suitable only for carpets, not for tiles. dyson dco7 vacuum hoover super pets

Advantages: great for pet hair, easy clean, powerful, cheerful, flexible

...my shoulder so dont find it a problem. it doesnt take me long to vacuum so no problem anyhow. it is not a quiet hoover by any means but i guess thats the price you pay for the performance. i do find it heavier than the other uprights i have used but then they dont do the job so i am sticking with this baby for the time being. the permanent filters are supposedly very good, which along with the bagless nature of it is one of the selling points to me..i think dyson have proved themselves for good design with this machine in those areas, as well as performance. given that there is a 5yr guarantee i think we can all rely on a long life with this vacuum. i recommend it to all and hope you find it as good as i have. buying online it was great value for money and has proved itself worth every penny so far. this girl aint for parting with it...

SOORY Dyson iv gone back to hoover

Advantages: Very long waranty, nice long flex
Disadvantages: I think they have used concorde engines in them!

.... At this point if you think i am a dyson basher i am not if you are still hell bent on a dyson i sugest you buy the cylinder type. The good points We got ours at a steal of a price a mere £149 obviusly with the new models coming out the price of the older models have come down. We also got a five year waranty with our machine. which Dyson must be commended on this they are definatley a brand you can trust as after 12 months most manufaturers dont want 2 know SO WELL DONE DYSON!! I i skipped out of currys with my new DC07 under my arm . got it home its so easy 2 assemble a three year old could do it. no tools are required, you clip the hose end into the rear of the vacuum u then shove the metal pole into the hosepipe then clip the top of the handle to the body of the machine then your good 2 go despite looking cheaply made the machine...

DYSON HOOVER DC07 -Great for pets and asthma

Advantages: Suction,tools,great for homes with pets,customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly on the heavy side.

...If its power and suction you want then I can recommend THE ANIMAL. Make sure you get the Purple one as this has all the features that make it better than the yellow one. Its hard to wax lyrical about a hoover but after several dodgy second hand monsters we decided to splash out on THE ANIMAL DC07 from Dyson and its been a joy? if hoovering can be such a thing.
