...My easy to open wallet strikes again, this time in the form of a dishwasher. Although, this one was more necessary, my old one was sort of falling to bits (literally). Look and Design Nothing too fancy, it's a white box with an opening door and some buttons on said door, exactly what you would expect a dishwasher to look like. It's of a reasonable size, being 84.5 cm high, 60 cm wide and 60 cm deep, and easily fits into my kitchen, which is fairly average. Function It is very easy to use, all the buttons are pretty much self explanatory as are the program modes which are Prerinse, Quick Wash 45°C, Economy 50°C, Auto Daily 45°C-65°C and Intensive 70°C. Advantages: Stunning picture & sound quality, easy to use, self tuning, 2 SCART sockets, 2 HDMI sockets
Disadvantages: the stand is heavy and the display would be better secured using 3 cables rather than 1

EOS 50e: A very capable camera

...I purchased my 50e new several years ago with a Canon 28-80 zoom lens as a replacement for a fully manual Practica SLR. One of the main selling points at the time was the eye controlled auto focus. This enables the camera to sense which of three focus points your eye is looking at and focus accordingly. The eye-control works extremely well and operates with the camera in the horizontal or vertical position. Once calibrated to your eye it is usually quicker than manually selecting a focus point. A depth of field preview can also be activated using eye control by looking at a small square in the top left corner of the viewfinder. ...I wont go into any technicality with this camera,i will say that i am a semi pro photographer that posess the canon eos mk 3 and the canon eos 400d as a general back up.The canon eos 50e will take pride of place in my equipment arsenal as a film camera. I have had this camera for several years and some of my work from this has been exhibited.I like the overall design,ease of use and the robust feel.It has travelled extensively also with me. I agree with the other reviews that the battery grip is a must as it really gives a good strong feel in the hand and adds weight which i like.Dont use cheap batteries as they dont work which i found out while in Norway.Invest in a good medium sized camera bag for this camera with the battery grip. I rarely have used the built in flash and i never use the auto features with exception...

Advantages: Good value, good number of connections,good picture, lighter than CRT. Good for gaming consoles.

...I had a similar shopping experience as wrenny. She forgot to mention that Richer Sounds also provide 5 year warranty at 10% cost of this product. I found this a good replacement for my old standard sony CRT TV. It was far lighter than my old heavier CRT and was a doddle to get it out of the box and set up. The on screen pull down Menu's were similar set up to ms windows, and all text is readable within the confines of an average living room ( 5 x4 m) The picture from NORMAL BROADCAST TV is EXCELLENT( What Hi-Fi? recommended) even from my standard roof top aerial, which isn't even boosted. You may see this TV in Curry's etc. but with a sky signal. I advise you to get the shop to connect a DVD player to it for a better idea of its real potential.
