...I've always had a nokia phone,but after friends and family began getting the samsung E600 i thought i'd give it a try! luckily, i didnt have to pay much for it as my friend sold it me 2nd hand so it only cost me £30. A lightweight phone that takes both photos and videos (Although there not very long, about 10/15 seconds) No snooze button on the alarm clock, so you often fall back asleep and then realise your late when you finally wake up! You can have the alarm tone as any ring tone that you have in your phone. The colour can be changed of the front flashing light i.e blue, green, purple and light colours can be changed for when you recieve a message or missed call. Continuously beeps when you have got a message until it is read, which can be annoying if you forget to put your phone on silent before you go to sleep. Holds 200 txt...

Samsung E600 - novelty slightly worn out(?)

E600 Scenic

Advantages: Very fast and reliable
Disadvantages: 40GB of memory

...Scenic e600 is OK for gaming but would be excellent for business. Its fast and reliable what more do you need. I did a nice upgrade to make it handle vista... i strongly recommend not putting vista on it due to it will not recognise the graphics driver and you need to use system graphics which is horrible. Now it just serves as a work computer. The amazing 2.6Ghz which is has is the best feature of this desktop computer. Been serving me well for over 3 years i think and has never broken down... Its very reliable. The 512Mb ram it comes with... get rid of it. Put about 4GB of ram in there and you got the perfect computer. Tried putting a Geforce 8800 card into.... did not fit so dont try and stick something big into it because it wont fit. Can be very silent which is a lovely aspect of it, doesnt buzzzzzzz to much. Who needs a title when you got a d600e

Advantages: Fantastic screen and useable as a phone
Disadvantages: camera location and message tones

..., another year on and I get a call from orange. We'd like to upgrade your phone to a d600e. Well i couldn't say no now could i. First day of ownership: Annoyance of the placement of the camera. D500 had it tucked away in the slide out part.. d600 does not, and you tend to get photos of your fingers rather than the desired subject.. Also i wonder if it will be a good location being in a pocket with keys, it may well be easily damaged. Day two: SMS message recieve tone. Unfortunately there appears to be no way to install new tones for recieved sms messages. And anyone with a d600e will tell you all the pre-installed tones are very pansy. I dont want to sound like a girl when i get a text so i turned the tones off and set it to vibrate only. Day three: The clock.. wtf have they done!! d500 had a clock display when the phone was closed...

Samsung D600E (My best phone to date)

Advantages: Smart, Sleek and easy to use
Disadvantages: Could be a little smaller, however size is not too big

...The decision to purchase a Samsung D600E was probably my best to date. As allways Samsung's design and software completely sold me!. The D600E is a very stylish phone with a great design. The visual design is quite sleek, the phone is black with quite a large screen. the square central button below the screen provides easy navigation in the menu and has the usual surrounding buttons, the answer button, the end call button a cancel button and 2 shortcut menu buttuons. The D600e is a sliding phone, slides up to reveal the keypad this is quite a good function as when you slide down after a call the front keys automatically lock. ...The Samsung U600 is the slimmest slide phone, even slimmer than the trendy D900 which is now replaced by u600. I bought mine for 85 pounds which is a dark blue colour. It has an amazing 3.2 mega pixel camera if you look how thin the phone is, with flash and 4x digital zoom. If you take a picture of a business card it recognizes all the field and enter them automatically, this is a new feature. It also records videos in mp4 format and the maximum video size is 352 x 240 which is good. It has a 2.2 inch TFT 262k colour screen which has great graphics because I downloaded 'Horton hears a who', converted it into MP4 format and saved it on my phone to see if it works and it worked. ...I got this phone about 11 months ago on an upgrade with T Mobile. I had no idea what phone I wanted but when I explained the functions that I needed, the Samsung U600 was suggested to me. It is a nice looking phone, grey, small and thin, you can carry it in your pocket without it being too bulky. It is a slide phone with a large screen. The number buttons are under the screen and are displayed when you slide the phone down. The menu and call and hang up buttons are touch screen. To describe some of the features that the phone has- Camera- It has a 3.2 mega pixel camera which is very good quaility, however it annoys me how it takes a while for the camera to capture the picture before it actually takes it. U600 freeze!

Advantages: Gorgeous, thin, light weight!
Disadvantages: Freezes during texting, turns off and then eventually is coput!

...I loved my U600 when I first got it. It is a very nice looking phone, it is very thin and strong and although I had a case on it, it hardly looked used. However after a few months it started to freeze whilst I was sending text messages. It would switch itself off and restart itself again and so I eventually couldn't send text messages because the phone would switch off every time I tried. It would allow me to make calls but if, like me, you mostly text then this became terribly problematic for me. I was not the only person I know that had had this problem with their U600, infact everybody I know that had one had said that they were experiencing similar problems, even if not as extreme as mine my friends were still experiencing the minor problems that I started with.
