620SDi 70 mpg my Ar e
Advantages: Comfortable and safe
Disadvantages: Poor performance and mpg, unreliable
...The car in question is a 1997, P reg Rover 620sdi. In other words it's a
turbo diesel rover 600.
I bought the car as I had just got a new job and needed to travel
70 miles a day commuting. My 20 year old BMW 323 was costing me £10
a day as it ran on LRP which at the time was considerably more expensive
than diesel.
Having hunted through parkers car guide I found the Rover. The stats where
impressive with a 2 litre intercooled turbo diesel unit producing over
100bhp, 0-60 times of just under 11 seconds and fuel economy of between
40 - 70mpg.
As it happened a local garage had the very car in stock with 59k on it for
£5000. I signed my finance deal and was on my way. Or so I thought until I picked it up and within 10 minutes suddenly couldn't go from 3rd to 2nd gear (gearbox problems are common on all 600's). The car then broke...

Canon MP620 All in one Printer
Advantages: Excellent Phot prints, excellent scanning, wireless capability
Disadvantages: Slightly bulky, wireless can be tricky to set up
...I bought this printer a few months ago to replace an old hp all in one which had lasted for a long time and sadly the print quality had diminished. With a large amount of options on the market I shopped around and came across the Canon MP620. It seemed to have all the features I was after including scanning, printing, card reader, photocopyer and wireless networking. Please note there are 2 other similar models in the range and as far as I know the MP610 is older and not wireless but slightly cheaper. Alternatively the MP630, which is more expensive is also not wireless but is faster in producing more prints per minute.
So far, since using it I can report that the MP620 is an excellent all round printer. Great quality prints and excellent scanning makes it perfect for my needs. The wireless networking took a little time to setup...

Rover 620 SLDI a real wolf in sheeps clothing in the right hands!
Advantages: Tuneable, comfortable, extremely reliable, cheap to maintain, cheap to buy.
Disadvantages: None
...Hello and welcome to my review of a great car.
After having just sold my MG ZS I was on the lookout for a cheaper diesel car and a caravan. Of course though it had to be a Rover, despite an Aunt of mine trying to persuade me to buy her VW Passat TDI. Good thing I didn?t though because it ended up blowing the turbo less than 3 weeks later. I would never have considered it anyway due to the previous experience I had with a VW Golf GT TDI. Anyway the car I started to consider was the Rover 600.
I searched on the Autotrader website and came across a 1999 Rover 620 SLDI finished in Night Fire Red with 114,000 miles on the clock. The mileage never put me off for 2 reasons. The first being I done my research into the diesel engines and found them to be very reliable and secondly my friend, who previously had a diesel Golf...

rover 620ti
Advantages: great performance for next to nothing
Disadvantages: parts hard to find window problems
...What a fabulous car totally underrated. Bought mine 3 months ago and dont regret it at all unlike other cars i have bought. never imagined i would own a rover always thought they were for the more mature driver.
If you want speed looks performace and great handeling for around £1k this is the car for you.
Bought mine modified (dump valve, full kit, spoiler, dtm split rims, sound system, ect) but do know aftermarket parts are very hard to find and if you love your 620 you will spend hours on the web looking for bits but hey the money i have spent on extras i have saved on performance and knowing i am driving a luxury family car with the same spec as bmws mercs of similar age at a fraction of the price.
200bhp as standard can be increased with ease mine is currently 250bhp + and does quarter mile in 12 seconds.
with all that power...

V620 last phone you'll ever need!
Advantages: Easy to use, surprisingly sturdy, and just look at it!
Disadvantages: Few
...I have owned this phone since it was first released, and it has yet to let me down. Since I've had it so long, I'm well aware of how good it is, as well as what it does when it's in a bad mood! There have been times!
---The Styling---
Ok, I know I'm shallow, but the phone is gorgeous. Stunning in fact! I would even go as far as to use the word "sexy". I remember looking around the shop: all the phones looked the same, until I saw the V620, which really stood out. It has a cool clamshell which is nice, but it does have its problems, which I'll get into later. It does look good though! There is a small U shaped piece of metal on the front which is removable and interchangeable with others of different colours; but why anyone would want to remove any of the jet black is beyond me!
For practical purposes, the antenna is a little...

Samsung E-magine
Advantages: Slim, light, easy to use, good sound system
Disadvantages: Poor quality camera, outdated
...After my Nokia 7373 broke, I should say after I broke it, but that's not something to go into now, I realised I was still paying for a £35 a month contract and getting no benefit so I went in search in a new phone. The problem is now when you buy a pay as you go phone that so many of them are network locked, so I knew I was far better off buying a phone on the right network. Better safe than sorry. I didn't think I was in any great rush to buy a phone but one lunchtime after a particularly bad morning at college, I decided to pop along to the local Tesco and have a look for a new phone. The choice was relatively limited but amongst the usual tat I noticed something that I quite liked. It was a Samsung E250.
I had previously had the D500, about eighteen months ago, so I knew they were reliable, the menus were easy to use...

E, how did I ever live without this?!
Advantages: attractive, loads of features, good contract
Disadvantages: /
.... They were not offering BlackBerries on the plan I wanted, but I did find a really nice phone in the form of the Nokia E71 and as soon as I read about it, I knew it was the one for me. Once again I processed the order, and much to my surprise an email came through a few days later, telling me that the order had been successful and that my phone would be with me in a few days. I have never felt so relieved in all my life!
After what seemed like forever, I picked up my new phone from the post office and rushed home. Sitting myself down, I carefully prised open the box to discover the contents. Sitting on top was the shell of my phone, incomplete without its battery or sim card. Removing this and the top layer, I discovered the rest of the wonders that came with the package. Along with the dozen leaflets and little booklets you get telling you...

620sldi three year review
Advantages: Sound engine good body work
Disadvantages: Expensive when new should a good value now
...Okay. I got this on the employee discount scheme - it was rather overpriced in those days, purchased new in April 1997 - but it was and probably still is a good car to own. (See my other opinion on my current car - changed April 2000).
I purchased it because I needed a reliable car with sufficient space for three growing children that was reasonably economical for a good price. The 620 SLDI gave me that, perhaps rather surprisingly. Yes, I got a hefty 35% discount off the standard price and it was a bit of a hybrid in that it was 1996 model with 1997 specs but being British racing green you didn't really notice that the bottom body trim was black instead of body colour.
Electric windows all round, tinted glass, air con and sunroof (which hardly got used - why would you, if you have a reasonable air conditioning unit?) Steering...

Rover 620Ti 1998Understated & Underestimated
Advantages: Power, Modest looks, Loads of extras & excellent second hand prices!!!
Disadvantages: Tyres, windows, exhaust.
...As the title says, this motor has no bragging badges on it and neither does it look [from the outside at any rate] different from other petrol 600 series. The Rover 600ti is my second, the first was a 600Dti of the same age. I lost my first one due to a motorist driving into my rear end and writing it off. I've had 3 different model of cars since the first Rover, but unfortunately none lived up to the expectations of my 620.
Earlier this year I was browsing a well known auction site and decided to see if I could find another one. To my surprise I found and bought a Rover 600ti for just £1100.00. I've got to say it was the best £1100.00 I've ever spent.
The Rover 600ti has everything you'd expect to find in YES, a Mercedes OR BMW of similar age. Full air conditioning, electric windows all round, sunroof, half or full leather...

Samsung E900
Advantages: Style
Disadvantages: Not an iPhone (Isn't packed with features), Processing noise
...I bought my Samsung E900 a few years ago now for around £80. I wasn't looking for anything fancy and this phone was exactly that - quite good looking with pretty basic features.
~~~ Looks / Style ~~~
I was looking through a catalogue at all the various phones and this appeared to be one of the best looking without being too expensive. When I finally got it I was just as pleased with it looking at it for real as I was when looking at it in the catalogue.
It has a shiny black finish, which can show fingerprints quite clearly and the overall look and feel of the phone is smooth. When you don't touch it for a few seconds it basically just looks like a black box with a silver button in the middle.
~~~ Ease of Use ~~~
My main use for the phone is for texting. It's very easy to that on this phone, because you can...
