...When an alien race finds itself marooned on earth they are fortunate that a caring humanity give them refuge and their own land in South Africa known as District 9. I don't really get District 9. It seems to have gone down well with almost all film audiences and critics but I feel like I must be missing something. I think maybe a lot of it is because it has strong apartheid references...

Review of District 9
Advantages: looks good Disadvantages: can be pricey in the long run.
...Doctor Who is a popular sci-fi family show which has been on and off our screens for many years now. It is an amazing show about a man named the Doctor. He is a Time Lord who travels around in his big blue box known as the Tardis, rescuing and saving those who are in danger from the evil creatures of the universe. He sometimes travels alone but usually he is accompanied by a female companion. Our current Doctor is the gorgeous David Tennant!
This Doctor had travelled with a woman in the past named Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen). He was reacquainted with her in series 2: School Reunion back in 2006, when we saw her again, complete with k9. K9 was a dog the doctor had made (his master) out of tin for Sarah Jane, providing a faithful companion for her. He is such a cute little dog, all small and silver, none other is quite as adorable...
Advantages: Good film, storyline an enjoyable movie Disadvantages: not suitable for under 12s

I personally own this DVD being a dog fan I love it, any dog lover especially those that are particular fans of German Shepard Dogs (Alsatian) should love it too.
I have seen both this one and sequel to this K-9 11 and I have found this one to be better by far.

Advantages: A classic theme Disadvantages: Terrible script, terrible acting and a disappointing ending
...Buying a film featuring Kelly Brook was always going to be risky but I still couldn?t quite stop myself from putting House of 9 in my Amazon basket ? maybe Dennis Hopper would make up for it?
The idea behind this film is similar to that of Saw 2 and based on the classic ?And Then There Were None? theme of several people being forced together only for their number to be reduced until there is only 1 (or possibly 2 or even none) person still standing.
In House of 9, 9 strangers are abducted from their everyday life only to be imprisoned together in a completely sealed house furnished with cameras and hidden microphones. They wake up unable to understand what has happened to them until a disembodied voice informs them that they have been put here as part of a game. The winner of the game will receive 5 million dollars but...

...After my Nokia 7373 broke, I should say after I broke it, but that's not something to go into now, I realised I was still paying for a £35 a month contract and getting no benefit so I went in search in a new phone. The problem is now when you buy a pay as you go phone that so many of them are network locked, so I knew I was far better off buying a phone on the right network. Better safe than sorry. I didn't think I was in any great rush to buy a phone but one lunchtime after a particularly bad morning at college, I decided to pop along to the local Tesco and have a look for a new phone. The choice was relatively limited but amongst the usual tat I noticed something that I quite liked. It was a Samsung E250.
I had previously had the D500, about eighteen months ago, so I knew they were reliable, the menus were easy to use...

...I bought my first Skoda 5 years ago when I retired from my full time occupation. I had intended to buy a decent second hand model but on visiting the dealer, I was so impressed with the estate version of the 1.9tdi Fabia, that I took the plunge.
Having since had 100% reliability, economical fuel consumption , the added bonus of quick off the mark acceleration for an exceptionally value for money price, I am glad I took the plunge as I have not regretted my choice of car.
Capacious boot space that takes all my golf clubs, trolley and more without having to lower the rear seats is also something to appreciate.
I traded that in 3 years ago for the same model but with added extras such as cd player, air con, alloy wheels at what appeared to be very little price difference from the first one I bought.

...Before I start this review, I should say that the U9 is my first new phone in over three years. This is something pretty major for me as I was very attached to my old phone - it might have been old and basic but it offered everything I needed, and I found that most newer phones were either ugly or had the exact same (or worse) specifications than my old phone did - which was pretty surprising for one that was so old! The fact that I *FINALLY* chose to upgrade is a pretty good sign as to just how good the U9 is.
The U9 is almost certainly a girls phone. Your colour choices are either pink or purple - the pink designed for 'party girls', and the purple for those that like luxury.
