...I bought my Samsung E900 a few years ago now for around £80. I wasn't looking for anything fancy and this phone was exactly that - quite good looking with pretty basic features. ~~~ Looks / Style ~~~ I was looking through a catalogue at all the various phones and this appeared to be one of the best looking without being too expensive. When I finally got it I was just as pleased with it looking at it for real as I was when looking at it in the catalogue. It has a shiny black finish, which can show fingerprints quite clearly and the overall look and feel of the phone is smooth. Advantages: Stylish design. Easy to use. Simple menus. Takes good photos/video. Sliding mechanism works well.
Disadvantages: Accidental button presses. Light remains on when charging. Vibrates too much when battery is dying.

...The Samsung E900 is a very stylish looking phone, it measures 93x45x16.5 mm, so it is very slim and lightweight, and it is barely noticeable in your pocket. I have mine in black but it also comes in pink, gold and silver I believe. The user interface is intuitive and the menu structure is easily navigated. ...I basicly brought this phone as a cheaper alternitive to the D900 but having said that it is not a bad phone. Sleek in style and did have all the features in a phone that I was looking for, it is not really that different to the D900 apart from it's mermory cap and the fact that the touch key pad is sentive to the touch and juring use of the phone the canel button or call button can be easily caught by accident making over all useage abit of a challenge, texting is mostly what I find difficult as brushing your finger over the cancel button will delete some writen text if not all, thankfully it will not call out if it is in your pocket as the phone will not operate unless it is fully open, it doent have a key lock as such but is key locked if the phone is shut. Camera is good quality for a 2 MP and I am pleased with my pictures...

It broke three times in seven months so I gave up on it and opted for the Samsung E900. Best phone decision I've ever made. I was pleased when I opened the box to find a stylish and sophisticated, compact phone, USB cable, Charger, headset and the Samsung PC Studio Disc, and mine came complete with a two-year warranty. It pays to shop around. I chose the pink model, although I have seen it in the black which is also quite stylish, and been told it's also available in Silver and in Gold. ...I upgraded to the Samsung E900 from the Motorola Razr V3 a couple of months ago, and though some things have me yearning for the Razr's intuitive interface, I am still infatuated with the E900's sleek looks and the million things it does. ...The samsung e900 is a good phone if you are looking for something sleek and sexy. Its slim, stylish exterior makes it a good phone to show off to your friends. It has all your basic functions like bluetooth, mms, sms, internet capabilities, video recorder and voice recorder. It also has an unusual aspect, the touch sensitive buttons. These are very sensitive and therefore easy to use, but they can get very annoying when you keep accidentally touching them. There have been several times that I, personally, have accidentally called people or cancelled whatever i was doing due to the buttons. Although the buttons can be seen as a downside, there is little else wrong with this phone. The camera and video recorder may take some time to respond but overall, it performs very well. ...The Samsung E900 is usually between about £100 - £150. It is a great looking little phone and the touch pad looks very smart and sleek but it can be a bit annoying as the cancel button is very sensitive. It includes a 2 meg pixel camera with 4x zoom and flash which takes good quality photos and videos. It also has 80 mb memory and you can add more by buying a memory card usually about £30 for a 512 mb. It has an alarm, calculator and reminders as well. The phone book can store 1000 names and numbers and you can have different ringtones for each person. There are also some games on this phone and an mp3 player. This is one of the best phones I have had and is easy to use once you get used to the touch pad. It has a lot of features as well with a lot of memory so you can store a lot of photos, songs etc....

...I purchased my Gold coloured Samsung E900 as part of an 18 month contract with a well known phone company. I found it quite easy to use even though I like most people do struggle when they get a new phone. (I never read the user's guide) Once charged fully the battery and standby time last for quite a while without recharging i am a frequent texter and caller and i have used phone for 2 days without recharge. I thought that the slim design was attractive as well as practical I don't like to have to much bulk in my handbag. ...I chose to upgrade my old phone to a Samsung e900 after noticing my friend's one on a night out. I have to say it looked great. It still does, that is what attracted me to it in the first place. It looks almost minimalist and very sophisticated. Not at all garish like some other mobiles out at the moment. As for functionailty, I'd have to say it's great. The menus are all very user friendly, easy to operate and you can change the view of them to meet your preference. ...pockets. When buying my phone, i was torn between the Samsung E900 and the LG chocolate as they are similar in apperance. However the samsung has more applications. A memory card is also availavble for this phone as i find the 80MB of memory not enough as it holds 14 songs and about 100 images. Although in my opinion at first the touch screen at the top is difficult to get used to, once grasped i found it easier than buttons. With 'skip' buttons appearing when music is started it is easy to skip between songs. To put the phone on silent mode you simply hold the # button and the same to put it back onto general Because of the touch screen at the top, it is easy to delete text messages or exit applications which is annoying. However once this has been mastered, which took me about a month, you can enjoy the beauty of the screen...
