Snap happy with the Pentax Optio E40

...at night or in the dark don't seem to turn out well for the majority. The camera has to be held very still for a period of time longer than that to take a normal photo (but less than 10 secs - I find it to be about 5 or 6 seconds before the photo is taken and the image appears on the screen) to avoid blurry imaging, and if you can master this as well as the flash option, then you might just be lucky. The mode itself recommends using a tripod on this mode to reduce blurGenerally the images on the screen are a good indication of how the photo will turn out, but I usually find they look better when displayed on a computer screen. Despite all of these modes, I generally take most of my pictures on AUTO PICTURE, which is supposed to choose the most appropriate setting on the camera when taking the picture depending on the conditions. Warhammer 40K D.O.W!!

Advantages: exellent gameplay, great online mode and good graphics
Disadvantages: not much deatail in the single player campaign mode

...If ever there was a magic Liquid this is it. With the obvious exception of that other absolutely magical liquid BEER. WD40 is an oil like substance which has a multitude of uses, from getting rid of those creaky hinges to sharpening knives. It's an absolute marvel at getting a damp car started ( just spray all around the distributer and leads liberally ) It also works it's magic on dodgy locks, freeing stuck bolts or nuts. I have also used it with a sharpening stone to sharpen knives and scissors. if you need to free something thats been stuck for a while just spray and leave overnight before attempting to release it. The Excellent Sony DCR-PC8E

Advantages: Really Easy to use and Excellent Touch Screen
Disadvantages: Batter doesn't last to long!

...This is truely an excellent Digital Camcorder, the touch screen display make setting all the features up really easy and makes them all quickly acessable. The Unit is really well made and has excellent conectivity via Firewire to your PC. The battery is not the best in the world and last a maximum of an hour and a half in normall conditions. The Camcorder has a very good loading mechanism for the Mini-DV tapes, which are quite reasonably priced in most shops and even better on-line! The DCR-PC8E is excellently laid out for all of the controls that are not provided by the touch screen and can all be used with your hand in the carrying strap. Avaliablility of accessories as with all Sony Products is excellent...
