Advantages: Strict and challanging workouts but the wide range will keep you interested and motivated. Disadvantages: The wii balance board would be useful for some tasks (extra cost).

EA Sports Active comes with the game disc, a Wii Nunchuk with a thigh band that tracks running, and a stretch resistance band for lunging and weightlifting. Your own wii remote will be used for such things as throwing and punching. The Wii balance boad is not an essential requirement but i find it is helpful with a number of activities.
Th package also has a workout calendar, it can track your calorie losses and even asks questions about your diet.
Compared to other computer games this is sure to get you motivated and possibly lose a good few pounds!...

...I found out about EA Link whilst I was searching through websites to get a few free downloads so I could give my Sims some new clothes and furnishings.
The thing itself is called EA Link and in short it is a service which you can purchase and download the latest EA games, this means no waiting around for a CD to be posted or going out to the shops.
I think this is a brilliant concept for lazies like me!
To use EA Link you have to download the program as it runs in its own application window (which i believe uses your Microsoft Internet Explorer so that it can work) This is black and grey by design, with a few futuristic features. A Hewlett Packard notebook using microsoft vista home premium Operating System. This is a quite good notebook for beginners and entry level Notebook.
What I like about this Notebook, is that it is a quite decent specifications allowing me, to surf Online, play games, write letters and compose e mails on a multi tasking basis. The combination of amd's Dual Core processing ability and its useful one hundred Giga byte storage space allows me to carry out most basic notebook tasks fairly well.

Advantages: Great graphics, good sound effects and commentary, very life like. Disadvantages: a little too tricky for my liking!

The advantage to buy new laptop at this time, is that you'll be able to upgrade to new Windows Vista which will be available broadly January 30, 2007. So if you get a new laptop between October 26, 2006 and March 15, 2007 you will be able to uprade for free to Windows Vista. I have already order it from HP site. It's really easy to do and the only fees you have to pay are packaging and delivery (which is around 12£).

The laptop itself is great. Compact, light enough to carry around and powerfull too. A 14.1 inch widescreen display that is HD ready and features HP BrightView technology makes watching films thrilling. DVD recorder makes writing your favorite movies into DVD's very easy. ...If you look back through reviews I have written you will appreciate that about 18 months ago I decided to get fitter and healthier and just over a year ago I bought myself Wii Fit. I enjoyed that when I first got it and to be fair it did set me on the road to exercising more and losing a bit of weight but after a time it gets boring and working out with it is quite slow.
I then moved on to My Fitness Trainer so it isn't surprising that when EA Sports Active came on the scene I would be willing to give that a go too. It is designed for use with the Wii and you have the option of using the balance board that comes with Wii Fit or not using it so you don't need to have Wii Fit to use EA Sports Active but if you do have the balance board then it extends the range of exercises you can do.

As a small business owner (I.T) I have to have a Laptop. It's as simple as that. My old laptop was a Toshiba Equium M70 on XP. Being in I.T meant that I had to have the latest OS from Microsoft in order to help clients when they need help with Vista.
Usually when somebody asks me to find them a laptop for their needs, I can do it swiftly, effectively and find them their perfect laptop.
This was not to be the case with me, I sat there for hours and hours going through supplier products. The main 3 I whittled myself down to where Toshiba, HP and Acer.
I already had a Toshiba and to be honest, I really thought the speakers on their new version looked naff. Acer, a pretty budget make and often need repair.
After going through specs after specs, I chose this laptop, Down to the build quality, reliability...
Advantages: The 30 day challenge keeps you motivated and the exercises aren't boring! Disadvantages: Doesn't keep a record of your weight and occasionally doesn't track your movements.

The Wii Fit has been a hugely popular game, coming with it's famous Wii Balance Board players were doing combinations of balancing exercises, yoga, muscle training and cardio workouts. However, whilst this sounded good, people who were looking for a strong workout may have been disappointed. Wii Fit is fun... but didn't have continous workouts which told you how many calories you may be burning.
Then along came EA's game... EA Sports Active Personal Trainer. Priced at £34.96 this is considerably cheaper than Wii Fit which is priced at £59.99 (prices according to Amazon). It doesn't come with a Wii Balance Board, however it isn't a requirement to own one to be able to play EA Active. It should be noted that you do need a Nunchuk to play this game, and most Wii owners will have one of these...
Advantages: Powerfull, stylish, many featured, Large display with built in camera and full Keyboard. Disadvantages: Overheating, noisy fan and short battery life. It's large and Heavy.
...The laptop is a powerfull laptop with a 1.8x2 ghz processor and Nvidea Go 7600 256mb graphics card and looks very stylish but has a terrible overheating problem which you can feel if you have it balanced on your legs; even with space for the fan your always jiggleing it about wondering if it has enough air (The fan is quite noisy).
It has a large 17inch display, bluetooth and built in camera and touchpad. Full sized keyboard. Touch panel buttons for media centre and quickplay. 4 USB ports, express card slot with tv aereal
I like it a lot but it burns out once a year. The graphics card is fixed to the motherboard so when it goes you have to replace the motherboard too. HP did give me a great fast service on the extended warrantly on this problem (see the website under dv9030ea) but the problem is the pain of having to keep replacing...
Advantages: Full Size Keyboard, Good Speakers, Large Display, Powerfull, Stunning Looks Disadvantages: Short Battery life, Known issue with manufacturer.
...I have owned the HP DV9030EA for a year now.
There is a known issue at HP of this laptop overheating and therfore an extended 1 years warrenty is offered for free via HP.
I personally encountered this problem which caused the Graphics card to fail. At power on, you would get no display / external display.
I spent around half an hour on the phone to HP and was very pleased with the service i received. They collected the laptop next day and quoted me 14 days to return the laptop. I had my laptop back within 7 days and it didnt cost me a penny! On the diagnosis sheet they identified it was fitted with an entire new mainboard. Most Pleased!
