Advantages: more quick games and better graphics
Disadvantages: some bad graphics e.g. the crowd

...Fifa 08 Info I have bought every version of Fifa since 2004. The graphics have been getting better and better each year. When you play Fifa 07 and then play Fifa 08 it is extremely different, you have to get use to it. Fifa 08 I think is the best version so far EXCEPT there are loads of faults. When you are in game play and hit the ball way over the cross bar and into the crowd it says something like "keeper just knocked that one away". There are loads of faults with this part of the game and when you realise them they will get on your nerves. Ill come back to the rest of the faults later on in the review. Advantages: Another great game in the Fifa francise.

EA sports Active Wii, a workout that wil shape any couch potato

Advantages: Strict and challanging workouts but the wide range will keep you interested and motivated.
Disadvantages: The wii balance board would be useful for some tasks (extra cost).

The aim of the game is to get you fit and this it does!! EA Sports Active comes with the game disc, a Wii Nunchuk with a thigh band that tracks running, and a stretch resistance band for lunging and weightlifting. Your own wii remote will be used for such things as throwing and punching. The Wii balance boad is not an essential requirement but i find it is helpful with a number of activities. Advantages: Great graphics and gameplay modes. Xbox live features. Proper players and updates

...I have owned Fifa 08 for 1 week and have to say I think it's great. The pace of the game is much slower than Fifa 07 which needs some getting used to but doesn't spoil the game in any way. The game play is more difficult with more emphasis on slow build up play rather than the quicker arcade style of last year. So far I have found goal scoring to be much more difficult with 1 all draws and 1 nil wins much more frequent. My main method of scoring so far has been crossing from the wings and someone popping up with a header. If the ball hits the ground you have the usual goal mouth scramble with defenders and attackers piling in. High balls are often controlled on the players chest then a nice volley towards goal. Unfortunately one way to score regularly is to shoot from a diagonal, the keeper often pushes the ball out into the path...

Advantages: Improved gameplay, graphics, Be a Pro mode.

...This is my first Fifa game for a number of years and I have to say I am very impressed. The game looks the part and the gameplay is impressive. The game has great offline modes, with the new Be a Pro offline training mode which is excellent. You can also pick a team of your choice from over 30 leagues and manage them to glory with manager mode. The online modes are great too, online play doesn't really get affected by lag, unlike other football games on the market. You can take part in the interactive leagues where you take control of your favorite team and face the same opponent your real life counterparts would be facing in their next fixture. Overall I feel Fifa has come a long way over the last few years and it added realism to gameplay is a must for people that like a tough challange. Like football, get FIFA 08!...

Advantages: Amazing Graphics
Disadvantages: A slight let down on gameplay

...team winning 5-0 in a London derby in the proper kit. Not just some cheap imitation like the ones you see loud people selling in rubbish stalls in markets trying to fool foreigners. Well it's doing nothing for me. Obviously Fifa has all teams and leagues so you can be part of the official premier league or take your team up there from Division 3. It's just so great to see Millwall taking the top spot and seeing off Chelsea with ease. It just doesn't get much better. All new EA Sports games have improved their menus this year I think, every EA game I have played the menus seem to be alot more user friendly. ...Being a very big fifa fan from my PS2, i was very excited about getting this game: the prospect of being able to play one of my favourate games wherever and whenever i wanted (as long as my battery was charged). Starting the game up threw me with familiar game logod like previous fifa editions, and then started the music. Obviously because of the storage space of the UMD discs, you would expect much less music too be included, although suprisingly, their isnt, with in fact quite a good soundtrack, whilst also allowing the option of playing all the music from the memory stick. I found however the game to be a little laggy, spending rather a large amount of time also sitting waiting for the loading screen. The graphics were just as good as my old PS2 fifa games which i find to be quite amazing given the size of the PSP itself...
