...Ealing Balti House is a delightful little Indian restaurant located in West Ealing which has been in operation since 1996. West Ealing is in West London and it?s not exactly one of the nicer parts of Ealing which is a shame as this restaurant gets easily overlooked when people think about dining in the Ealing area. My husband and I found this restaurant quite by chance a few years ago as it?s walking distance from our home. We were somewhat surprised to notice it as we thought we?d tried out all of the Indian restaurants in the Ealing area over the years. Unfortunately it?s not in the best location in Ealing, it?s on the main road of the West Ealing shopping area but it?s right at the end so it?s easily missed as it?s opposite the local Kwik Fit and parking is only available on the single yellow lines outside the restaurant or across...

A GOOD EXAMPLE OF IGNORING FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Advantages: Superb location, reasonable prices, high speed wireless and wired internet throughout, on-site parking
Disadvantages: Looks quite grotty from the outside

I realised on arrival that I had forgotten my padlock and asked at the reception if I could borrow one. Rankin among some of the best

...After first picking up a tatty old paperback secondhand called "The Antipope", little was I to know I'd get sucked into buying another author's back catalogue (such is my way). Christmas brought me most of them, and I just recently tucked into East of Ealing. Lovely restaurant, great atmosphere

Advantages: The atmosphere, the food, the toilets!
Disadvantages: The chairs could be a little comfier

...I think the review before this one was really harsh, and in fact when you read the whole review he sounds like he had a good time, despite the 'barely edible' food! I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and I've always really enjoyed myself. The food is solid Greek Cypriot fare, and if you like Greek food then you will like the food here. The Meze is a great deal and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's not high-class dining, but then I can't imagine anyone would be expecting that from a small Cypriot restaurant in Ealing! The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are friendly but not overwhelming (and yes Gordon Ramsay probably wouldn't employ them, but who cares?), and the toilets are definitely worth seeing! ...about £15 per visit. For that you get plenty of items at affordable prices. An ear piercing service is also available. The background music is great to listen to. Usually current hits are played at an incredible volume. The parent company is American which has a 'pile them high sell them cheap' attitude. We have visited Claire's Accessories stores at High Street Kensington, the Broadway Centre in Ealing, the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent and the Princes Quay shopping complex in Hull. The best store visited was in the Trocadero complex based at Piccadilly Circus. I would imagine this place is heaven for females. You can always see husbands and boyfriends squirming and with bored faces in the store. The staff is friendly and efficient. The store has a feel-good attitude about it. One criticism I have is the small size of stores...
