...Introduction ~~ East is East is another good recent British film. And like the majority of other good recent British films East is East was made by Filmfour. East is East is set in Salford, near Bradford in the 70's and it focuses around the antics of the Khan family. East Is East Is Excellent

Advantages: Funny, thought-provoking, well-acted and scripted
Disadvantages: Lots of swearing

...East Is East is one of my favourite films; one that I have seen countless times. As well as owning the DVD, I have watched it twice on TV and twice in school (once in Religious Studies and in Citizenship). It has been both criticised and commended in equal measure - some have described it as the best British film in years, others have said it's racist, anti-Islam and stereotypical. East Infection

Advantages: Good little Ep
Disadvantages: Well it's an EP, so only 6 tracks!

...East Infection is a 6 track EP by Gogol Bordello that was released in January 2005, some 6 years after the band's first release. They obviously polished their sound during that time because there is a much more cleaner sound to this little EP. This little EP is incredibly experimental though, the 1st track East Infection is chaotic, quick and catchy with short parts of what seem to be jazz guitar, Ave B. without doing anything particularly special is a pleasant gypsy acoustic styled song to listen to, not too heavy this one, Mala Vida is upbeat and sung in spanish, it has a very latin feel to it whilst Copycat is a weird track that uses reggae vocals on top of Chemical Brothers or Prodigy style electronica and features very humorous lyrics. Strange Uncles from Abroad has a System of a Down feel to it but with some awesome strings...

Advantages: Excellently written, totally absorbing
Disadvantages: Rather large!

...another Steinbeck so this one was put away on my shelves until I had pulled myself together a bit more. Steinbeck excels in gritty realism, sometimes shocking and disturbing but written in such a way that you find yourself absorbed in his books and are reluctant to leave the familiar characters he describes. ***The story*** East of Eden focuses on the stories of two families, the Trasks and the Hamiltons, living in the Salinas Valley. Adam has a brother called Charles, with whom he has a very difficult relationship akin to that of Cain and Abel (the dominant theme of the book), both of them fighting for their father’s love. EAST MIDLANDS AIRPORT

Advantages: Close to where I live
Disadvantages: Catering and that long wet walk.

...I will talk about East Midlands Airport from a Nottingham point of view as that is where I live. Getting to EMA (East Midlands Airport) options. 1) Drive your self, about 14 miles down the A453 which can get very Congested during the Evening Rush Hour so allow lots of time. Also as this is a narrow two lane road subject to holdups when accidents occurr. As long as you prebook your Car Parking space charges not too bad but just turn up and you will have a hefty Bill. 2) Use the Airport link bus from Friar/Lane Nottingham. £9 for a 28 day return, but good value Group ticket at £15 (up to 4 adults and 2 children ) Runs every 30 mins (5 past and 35 past the hour) but in the early hours hourly. If traffic light approx 40 mins. But uses same A453 as above. 3) Taxi from Home with local taxi firm in Radcliffe on Trent approx £45...

Disadvantages: Very high fees, no debt management performed

...I have to agree with the other reviewer - please, please never ever use Churchwood Financial Ltd (or any of the other companies they trade as). I went to them because my repayments and interest were becoming unmanageable. When I finally left them almost six months later, I was simply more in debt than when I started. They promise to take care of everything... If only this was even half way true. They promise to liaise with creditors, set up repayment agreements that will stop your interest and charges. THEY DONT! One of the first things they tell you (\"advise you\") is to stop taking any calls or replying to any letters from creditors. Just give them all to them. They also say stop making payments. Although I was struggling, I was making all payments on time and had never been charged extra fees up until I contacted Churchwood...
