Cadbury easter egg full of buttons

...I might just buy someone a Cadbury buttons Easter egg as a treat this Easter. I note they are available now on line and in the shops. Most of us acknowledge Cadbury chocolate as one of the better ones, and most of us will have eaten many of their products especially chocolate buttons. Cadbury have been making chocolate since 1824 by John Cadbury, in Birmingham, Easter eggs were manufactured since 1875 Chocolate buttons have been the childhood treat for years and years. Cadbury have made Easter eggs and filled them with bags of chocolate buttons for years too. Each year the design might change in some way. These Easter eggs are designed really to catch the younger age market, well may be the older market like me wanting to treat the little ones in the family. Advantages: A great lift-the-flap book for pre-school children.

...Before I begin this review I must apologise for ciao's specific critera options, they bear no relevance to the book but I had to fill them in so as to publish the review..............gremlins!! Anyone who has read my previous reviews will know that I am a huge fan of Eric Hill books for young children and this book is no exception. ~ Spot's First Easter ~ Spot and his friend, Helen the hippo go on an Easter egg hunt that Sally, Spot's Mum has said the Easter Bunny has hidden. They ask how many eggs have been hidden and the Easter Bunny, hiding behind a lift-the-flap bush says "Shh! Six". Instantly the reader knows more than Spot and Helen. Advantages: Good, colourful, lift the flap book. Cute Spot.
Disadvantages: My Easter Egg Hunts are never as good.

...So the Easter classic treat is back in our stores! Thank goodness for that! Although this year I did not quite get the same withdrawal symptoms as I usually do coming up to Easter time- due to the new availability of the Creme Egg Twisted bar that I do indulge in from time to time (although the rather expensive price tag compared to normal chocolate bars of similar kind) The concept is very simple, yet so effective. It is simply a hard chocolate shell (which indeed is the best Cadbury chocolate which almost melts in your mouth) filled with sugary fondant that is quaintly coloured to look like the inside of a real egg with the yellow yolk in the middle. Easter Bunnies

Advantages: Great little treats that don't cost much!

...Anyone who has read my review of the 'Hoppy Easter' milk chocolate eggs will know that we had an Easter Egg Hunt for our last day at school before the Easter Hols. Well I got these little treats too from Woolworths which I hid amongst the plant pots and toys etc in the playground, what fun!! ~ Price and Packaging ~ I got 12 bags of these from Woolworths for £3.50 which works out at 29p per bag and just over 3p per bunny. The bunnies come in little net bags, 8 bunnies per bag. I'm afraid we devoured the bunnies before I even thought to write a review on them so I can't add a photo to show that they just aren't as ornate as the picture shown by ciao!
