Review of Easy Virtue

A nice result but is it really that easy?

Advantages: excellent colour
Disadvantages: Quite hard to make sure youve applied it to all areas.

...I have recently gone from blonde back to my natural colour and my hairdresser told me that despite putting a permanent brown on top of the blonde, it will fade and I would need to go back and keep having semi permanent dye on it to build up the pigment. Review of Clairol Nice 'n Easy

It really is Nice'n easy.

Advantages: Good even multi-tonal hair colour.
Disadvantages: Just the clearing up after.

...I have used Clairol Nice'n easy permanent hair colour for at least 20 years and have been highly satisfied each and every time with the outcome. Having a daughter hairdresser, I can always get a good cut and the only job left for me to do is to hide the ever increasing grey. A spare 30 minutes can usually be found every 5-6 weeks to apply the colour. The range of colours is vast starting at somewhere around No.96 which is the lightest blonde and going through the range to Blue/black. I use 101 which is Natural Baby Blonde and now that Clairol have incorporated blends into the colour to give a multi-tonal look, I feel that my own natural hair colour is in there somewhere.! Easy Come, Easy Go

Advantages: It copes will light washing up.
Disadvantages: It doesn't seem to cope with greasy dishes

...up liquid had been given the rather upmarket name `Easy` This was my first `Easy` experience and not only had I got two bottles which were bound together with a clear plastic sheath, it seemed that they were an absolute bargain at the knock down price of 2 bottles for £1. Beggars can't be choosers and I felt obliged to at least give the `gift` a trial run. Both large bottles contain a bright green liquid that has been enriched with Aloe Vera, a plant extract that is known to be caring for your skin. Each bottle is made of clear plastic and is shaped towards the top for easy handling, the top of the bottle is red plastic and has the normal pull up mechanism to release the liquid and then push down again to firmly close the bottle. ...As a trained hairdresser myself, I know the cost of getting your hair coloured in a salon, for more techincal slices, hi lights etc it is prefarable to go to a salon, but if you are just looking for an all over colour, or to blend in some grey, then clairol nice and easy is what it says. Its so easy to do, apply to dry hair, make sure you get all hair covered (if hair is long you may need 2 boxes, but still cheaper than salon costs). After 35 to 40 mins wash out with the shampoo provided, condition with the color conditioner also provided (which leaves hair wonderfully soft, that i wonder why they dont sell this conditioner on its own but thats another story!)And presto you have beautiful color that lasts a long time, it does start to fade as with all colours, and regrowth is easy, you just apply the color next time to your roots (or...

EASY SIMPLY

At that age it was just for a change to my boring nearly black hair,but now it is to cover the greys which are growing in abundance at the tender young age of 38,lol. The first colour i ever used was the Bright Auburn,can't remember the number.My hair turned nearly orange and my dad nearly killed me.Then through the years i experimented a lot with different shades and brands. Now i have finally settled on shade Natural Medium Chestnut Brown which is brilliant. When i feel like a slightly darker shade i go for the Dark Chestnut Brown. ...Whilst in the local quality save store I spotted this washing up liquid and being only 39p for a 650ml bottle I decided to give it a try and bought one. I have been using this liquid ever since as it has worked really well and so now I always buy a couple when I'm in there to keep my kitchen cupboard stocked up!
